The Simpsons, predictions that come true

I just received two screenshots (sorry, can’t post pics yet)
one of a “you can’t escape the needle” and one that has Corona mentioned on it.
I can’t find the one about the needle on-line but I did find the Corona one.
I know The Simpsons predictions have been a hot topic for years.
Can anyone find and maybe imbed some stuff here in this regard?
It may be fun!

Word is spreading that a 1993 episode of The Simpsons, an animated sitcom that has been on TV since 1989, somehow “predicted” what’s happened so far in 2020, which, by the way, has included the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic. The episode, the 21st from season 4 of the series, bore the title "Marge in Chains,” and featured a fictional infectious disease called the “Osaka Flu.” In the episode, this fictional flu started to spread after someone coughed into some packages as the video accompanying this tweet showed:

I wish I could post the screenshots that I got from the text I received but sadly my phone is only in JPEG and it’s not as easy to change it as they make you think online. I ordered my first iPad and hopefully all of this will change soon.

The first one I got had BART Simpson standing in front of a Doctor Who had a big needle in his hand and if the caption “you can’t avoid the needle“ was something somebody made or if it was in an actual episode.

There are people here with much bigger brain buckets than mine that can dig up just about anything out of the interwebs.

I just thought it might be fun and if the whole OP is a waste of time some MOD can delete it if they so choose.

Can't forget about them predicting President Trump, back in 2000.



A futuristic episode where Lisa is the President and mentions inheriting a budget crisis from President Trump.

Those were great!!! Simpson predictions certainly were all the rage for a while.
maybe there are episodes that point to the needle and coronavirus on the Simpsons.
it would not surprise me for one second!
most people here probably have way more computer capabilities than I do.
like I said I just thought it might be fun....

Lots of strange coincidences/predictive programming going on in the simpsons(depending on your viewpoint).

The 911 prediction was another strange one.

911, yeah.
I well remember that one!
It kind of creeped me out actually.

I wonder if anyone will find an episode where they say you can’t escape the needle or something about coronavirus
