Dear New ATS Owners Please Fix Your Damn Site

Since ownership has changed hands, usability and frequenting has been met with heavy resistance.

Timeouts, connection drops etc have plagued users as can be now seen in quite abit of separate threads and populated by posts expressing identical issues.

Please fix or at the very least give the community a heads up as to what is going on.

I encourage users to post their issues or lack thereof or maybe even any workarounds.

Personally I use a VPN and change the country to which its pointing and that has made things much better.

MODS too, any input or insight to the recent and ongoing problem could be beneficial.

The problem I encounter is rather benign; I can't see any icons, only rectangles, unless I post in a thread. Then I'll see the icons, on that page alone.

yes i've been having similar problems.

Slow to load once I’ve clicked a thread, but clicking again seems to move it on much quicker.

I'm not having any of these issues at present. ATS has been running very well for me. The only time I've had an issue was the last brief outage.

I'm wondering if this is a location / ISP problem in some areas. Or maybe ATS has a liberal hosting site.

I'm the same. ATS is working fine for me.

Some problems could be VPN related as well as your provider(s) 🚬

Working fine on my end here in the UK.

I have however noticed if I'm forced to turn on a VPN to view content not available in my nation the ATS site can become slow or unresponsive.

Plenty of issues here. Timeouts, pics not showing, can't upload sometimes. Crosses both mobile and PC platforms and doesn't matter if wifi or cellular.

Would love to at least get an update on anything that is being worked on. At this point it appears the new owners have just left us flapping in the wind.

I rarely have issues with ATS , maybe once or twice one those rare occasions the website is down.

Forgot about that. Even when it's loading, pics have not loaded in months.

Every now and then I have trouble loading on my cell when using verizons network- but on a cable or fiber network I've never had trouble with the site loading.

The https upgrade was a nice change of pace

Yes. Sometimes it is impossible for me to use. The site is so slow like a 90’s aol dial up. I cant have real time conversations or load pics anymore

This is probably due to the graphics files being stored on a different server to the main board. Normally, this is supposed to speed load times, but sometimes things do not go as planned.

I also see long load times for graphics and similar. It is more predominant when I use a VPN, but may indicate the content server is optimized for a specific country or network, other than my own, or the one used by my VPN.

I wonder if these issues relate to using the phone version of the site?
I'm working on a laptop, and I'm not getting them.

I get the timeouts all the time too, and I know its not my connection or my computer , I run on a flawless 2k dollar gaming computer lol and its in tip top shape.

Also seeing a lot of double posts

I have not been here long, but absolutely never had any issues. Well, other than mods telling me to watch my mouth lol...

The site has been working better than it ever has for me in the past (UK).

Pages load instantly, no double posts or anything else on both PC or phone.

Site used to be a lot slower at my end in the past.

Absolutely no problems here in good ol' blighty.

Only ever access ATS on my laptops, never tried on my phone.

I have no issue using my desktop. When I use my IPad it'll hang on me when I first try to log on. I have to wait for it to time out 1 or 2 times then it'll open the page. Then it's hit and miss if another page will open right away or will hang and have me rinse and repeat. I clean my cookies and browser history every time I close my IPad so that isn't an issue. And I do use a VPN sometimes, and really sometimes it helps and sometimes it doesn't. The only issue I've had. Have gotten used to it. And don't think it's worth writing about. But since I saw this thread will add my 💲.02 if it is worth anything.
