Quite right. I'm willing to explain to her that a reign is the length of time during which an individual king or queen is ruling. For example, we are living (or at least I am) during the reign of Queen Elizabeth II.

While I disagree with her assessment of the situation and obviously it was not a whip in use, it did appear that the extra long reins which are made of leather as is a whip, was used as a tool like a whip even if inadvertently.

I sympathize with our border agents as they have zero authority at this point to actually do their jobs, instead they have been turned into babysitting a horde of out of control desperate people. The only person to blame for this horrendous travesty is Joe Biden.

No it's not a actual whip. But it can function like one. It's a pretty thick chunk of leather that will hurt like hell when hit with it.
So if you're good with beating illegal immigrants (AkA people) with leather straps. Whips aren't that much more of a stretch.
