Manhattan Beach Hall of Fame, eh? Had to look that up but I'm still impressed. And I always appreciate some hot sax with my surf.

Manhattan Beach is in the heart of what is known as the South Bay area of Los Angeles. I'm born and raised on the Southernmost edge- some of the original great surf bands were born here. Saxophone was a big part of those early bands, maybe I can dig up some more

"Tequila" slightly predates surf - as a rockin' instrumental it's iconic!



Side note: Composer/sax player Danny Flores was from nearby Long Beach and was a high school friend of my father-in-law.
