Some people think they know what is best & how to do a certain subject the best with absolutely no training. Then they say the CIA or some other agency who is qualified & extensively trained is not good at their job. If the agencies wanted to manipulate anything, it worked & you didn't ever see it even to today. They don't try to manipulate, they just do it & only classified personel know, it is why America is the most powerful nation on earth & will remain that way.

The reason for my response in this case was a user claiming that the left more that the right reacted in the way we discussed. While that might be factual based on their direct interactions that isn't the way it works as a whole though.

In all fairness the Woodward book uses very dubious sources. How such a respected journalist became such a partisan hack Ill never understand. The Federalist, while surely a partisan site itself, is reporting on what a FISA Court has ruled, they can put a spin on the story, but the headline says it all.
