I understand that some national borders in Europe split several groups of people from the nations that they considered themselves to be a part of.
French speaking Germans and vice versa - Alsace-Lorraine has been a contested region for a long time.
There are significant foreign speaking regions throughout France/Italy/Germany/Switzerland etc.
No disrespect but I find it hard to accept that Hitler in 1938 would cower down to Mussolini's demands that ethnic Germans abandon their German ancestry etc or be deported. Hitler was very much the dominant partner by 1938 and this sort of goes against everything we know of Hitler.
I'm sure Hitler would have been in favour of some sort of Aryanisation of The Crimea, but under those terms?

Russian hospitality. Many things not that complicated, being together is what counts more than formalities. Isn't it the daily scandals, that remind us we are all just faulty human beings? Allowing the number 5 be an even one and see past the facade, with all god and bad habits.
