Situations like the hospital are hard, are you sure that they won't let you in with a negative test though? Are they that totalitarian already in Belgium?

I will know next Friday after the press conference.

Another thing that they will discuss is the price of the testing, they think that the un-vaccinated should cover the entire cost of testing themselves, while for the vaccinated it is free.

But just in case, her father is taking her to the hospital and I will be there on video call to talk to the doctor. There is always a solution!

Not a great position for you to be in but I'm very glad the UK are no longer a part of the EU and can't be ruled by Brussels, so it will be down to our own Government to decide. Hopefully the decision will be a NO, just like the decision on the covid passports!

I don't think anyone is going to offer another solution.

The one thing I agree with out of this whole fiasco is “you will own nothing and be happy”

I firmly believe that the things you own end up owning you and have very little in my life I couldn’t happily get up and walk away from.

As I posted earlier, unfortunately, I have very little to offer you except comfort in the fact you do not face this thing alone.

I don’t think kids are necessarily detrimental.

They’re just like people but little, some are better copers then others but they are all a part of the next generation and deserve to be nurtured, taught how to think critically and act accordingly.

you remember when Trump said that Brussels is a Hellhole?
It got to me back then, because I though he meant the people and the city...

I have two things that might help.

1) You can ALWAYS get vaccinated but can never get unvaccinated. You shouldn’t let yourself be bullied in making the choice.

2) Free Will is something that they cannot cross. This is a psyop. It is a very good psyop. They cannot physically harm you or threaten you (which is why the job mandates have been so contentious, because technically this is a physical harm). Taking the vaccine must be a choice. Don’t ask me how I know this.

1) Over here there is a law that states that if it can be proven that you are a danger to others OR to yourself, they can admit you, take away your rights and administer medication for a maximum of 7 days.
So all they have to do is label you 'dangerous'

2) Only a few months ago we had a situation here with our Belgian rambo, it made world news for a short while but I doubt many of you know the whole story. The key point here is that, even though the guy hadn't harmed anyone at all, once they labeled him a 'terrorist' they had a license to kill him. And they did. (only, they said it was a suicide but not many people are buying into that one).

You say the vaccine must be a choice, well not much longer, they are going for mandatory. Just like it is for the healthcare workers in the US.

And many brave healthcare workers are saying no. Just like I said no to my job. It is borderline forcing but still is not forcing. I understand that it feels like forcing. In the US we also have a polarized political environment and a decentralized government (which is why everyone knows Biden’s employer mandate will be knocked down) which causes more barriers for their plans.

It isn’t easy but this is your time. It’s your movie and you’re going to have to watch it. What character do you want to play? You’ve made it this far. Are you going to succumb to pressure now?

coming to the US? I'm not even allowed to leave the country I live in and I don't feel much for sneaking on a boat, refugee style, to go somewhere else where things are just as chaotic as they are here
