Like the history of white supremacy looting, stealing and murdering?

No clue what your clueless CRT brain is yammering about there...

How about who cares about Lowes....their net worth is $140 billion and change...

Yes, lack of respect for private property laws because... they're rich! - is a typical commie/socialist/fascist ploy.

No thanks.

Hahahaha...."no clue"......hahahaha.... colonialism, imperialism is currently taught in schools, it's regular curriculum, not CRT, you must have not gone to school!

Shooting someone for petty thief is too extreme. Maybe it's time to limit expensive merchandise not locked in a cage.

So someone comes into your store and robs you and tells you to fill up his bag with cash and cigs and you would not shoot them if you could?

Depends if you equate some electrical wire to be worth more than a human life and the lives of the people in their families.

I know alot of of americans put no value on human life.

Thieves take food off the table of business owners and their workers, that's human life too.

Well, people are complaining we aren't as tough on crime as we used to be...
And I wonder how many of them defend the rioters that stormed the capitol..
Which would be really hypocritical in my opinion.

As far as it being tougher on crime in the past...
Sorry but I doubt if you have ever heard about police tackling senile old ladies breaking their bones because they forgot to pay, choking people to death on the street over a counterfeit 20, and some of the other crap that happens now days.
The would have helped treated the senile old lady with kindness. Made sure she made it home home, and her caretakers would have set things right with the store. They would have had a stern talking to the kid, confiscated the stolen property and either gave him a ride home or just let them go and had a chat with their parent at a convenient time. Heck, their was always a ton of eyes on us kids when I was growing up watching out for us and the parents could have civil talks with each other and let the parent know when the kid was up to no good. We kids went through life thinking our parents were psychic. The only school that would paddle a kid were the catholic school and yet, the only time Ithat one of my teachers were assaulted, it was a student teacher, and it was the teacher that threw her shoe at a kid because he wouldn't sit down and shut up. She missed the kid but hit the student teacher. The student teacher ran out of the room crying and we never saw her again.

This is actually a good question. The problem is, if someone pulls a taser out on an armed person this is sufficient cause to employ deadly force as a defense (i.e. self defense). Regardless of who the two individuals are respectively. So, it's not necessarily illegal, but it's reckless on the taser's part.

There's an old saying which goes...'Don't bring a knife to a gunfight'. Why invoke that saying here? Because if someone pulls a taser on an armed CCW holder, they will likely be shot and the shot will be legally justified. For my part, I don't want the authorities forcing me to determine whether an attacker has a gun, a knife or a taser, the fact is my life is in danger...I should be permitted to defend myself and my loved ones.

It is a good question though, so thank you for bringing it up.

DUDE...what color is the sky on your planet????

As many of the rioters at the capitol which they could catch are sitting in jail right now!

The rioters burning down cities and looting Target stores, the ones who got caught, were let free. Thousands of others who were ID'd never even got arrested.

You're drawing completely invalid false equivalencies.

Do you even have the remotest clue as to WTF you are even talking about????

Who cares what you did as a kid! When I was a kid we used to have BB gun fights and didn't wear a helmets on our bikes either **gasp**...so what!! We live in different times now; this ain't the '60's and '70's anymore. Grow up!

Funny. Not a single one of them has been charged with rioting. The evidence isn't there. The most any of them has been charged with is trespassing.

How about the "peaceful protesters" who were destroying cars and burning buildings? Shove it.

Now add to that the COVID bull sh!t. If anyone showed any symptoms, and they get tested and two weeks off with pay while in self quarantine. That destroyed any project schedule. With 50 employees the cost is staggering.

What law(s) require you to give them paid quarantine time off?

Whichever entity (Local? State? Federal?) issued this law must pay the costs.

Otherwise it is a blatant violation of the takings clause of the 5th amendment.

We are short staffed, the government appears to pay people to stay at home,

Exactly, so let them pay for your employees paid quarantine leave.

Through the end of the September they do pay most of the cost. I still have the scheduling problems and workers at home aren’t earning any overhead or profit. This year overhead is tremendous.

I don't think a single person hasn't suggest everyone of them should be charged with their crime and punished to match, right? What do you suggest the punishment should be for the old lady with a walker storming the capitol taking selfies once in side? 5 10 years?

As far as it being tougher on crime in the past...

You are right it was all about the 20. I'm sure if it was only a 10 bill they would have acted much differently. Holy crap boys its a 20!!! Get him!!

The would have helped treated the senile old lady with kindness. Made sure she made it home home, and her caretakers would have set things right with the store. They would have had a stern talking to the kid, confiscated the stolen property and either gave him a ride home or just let them go and had a chat with their parent at a convenient time.

I'm sure if either were stopped they wouldn't beat the crap out of the worker for stopping them. There are reasons they don't stop two large men stealing 1000s as they load up full carts and walk out. The two men know the cops will not come for 30 mins because of what the liberals have been doing to their budgets and creating a negative perspective in the community and they also know they can just beat a person to death if they want to and continue on to their car.

Heck, their was always a ton of eyes on us kids when I was growing up watching out for us and the parents could have civil talks with each other and let the parent know when the kid was up to no good. We kids went through life thinking our parents were psychic.

When you were a kid did you go into a store with 50 of your friends and do a flash mob robbery?

Yeah, I absolutely don't envy most business owners.

My wife is lucky, her tiny business hasn't been affected at all (she makes/sells raw frementd foods like sauerkraut, kimchi, Beet Kvass, Jun, Pickles, etc)...

First, the charges against the capital riotersax range from trespass and destruction of property to assaulting police officers.
Just like the rioters in the blm protests were charged with a ccx wide range of crimes.
And just like I would say that not all the protester that marched on the capital building were rioters, neither were all those in the blm protests.

Seems to me they did there best to sort the situations out and hold the people responsible only for their own actions.

The were the same complaints after charlottesville. Claiming only the bad actors on the right faced legal repercussionss... nope, those they found enough evidence to prosecute were prosecuted regardless of which way they leaned.

So, when is the ri....or I mean peaceful protest over how badly the rioters of jan 6th are being treated.
Do the pink pussy hats still have time to arrange a protest at the supreme court building on the same day?

If 50 of us kids were to plan a flash mob attack on a store, we all probably wouldn't have been allowed out of the house for a month. Some parent would have heard someone making plans and let the word out to the parents.. the streets would be bare of kids for weeks.

So the parents are not here today. Something like 75% of Blacks are now born to a single mother, and I would bet if we looked at Whites in the same economic bucket they would be damn close too. In many cases the parents might ask them to get something in their shoe size too, so not really against it.

So, it isnt so much that we need to get tougher on the kids as it is we need to get tougher on the parents and society that is neglecting the kids?
And. Single parent households have always existed and have been numerous for quit some time. Things didn't go off the deep end till the politicians and their politically active supporters decided that the laws were only there for that other side and they could do as they willed.
You have been here long enougj... you ever see posts of mine asking if the politicians shouldn't have to obey the laws they wrote, why should anyone else feel obligated to? Well, shame on me I guess..
But now, alot of people feel that way and are acting accordingly.
Sorry but I kind of think this is what might be happening. The fish is rotting from the head down.

Nobody is going to shoot shoplifters.

This is all part of the plan.
Retailers are eventually going to have some kind of system where people pay ahead of time and pick up, or everything is locked up and robots will retrieve your already paid for items. Walmart was already testing this.
They will use the excuse that there is too much loss.
There will come a day where just going in and shopping will not be a thing.
Maybe there will be stores with sample items so you can see it, but you won't be able to just pick it up an leave.
Many places have already started doing stuff like this.

I went into a purse store, they don't even want to let you touch the purses anymore.

What they are being charged with and what the Government can prove is turning out to be two different things. The Department of Justice keeps asking for trials to be postponed while they try to find evidence to back up the charges they have made. Lay off the Liberal Socialist kool-aid and wake up.
