This is designed simply to be one of those fun threads without a ton of substance. I have spent my entire morning weighing in on threads of extreme importance and very, very dour subjects. I figured I'd take the opportunity to offer to my fellow members a moment's respite to look back at your own lives, reminisce perhaps and share with the community at large. Eat a Kit-Kat bar...

Me: 1975
A lot of wars ended, a lot of countries became independent (oddly enough from Portugal), Mohammed Ali won The Rumble in the Jungle, it was International Year of the Woman, and the Steelers won the Superbowl...nuff said.

The year I was born was a pretty boring year. Einstein died, that is about it. Maybe that is why I was always kind of boring.

Ugggghhh...the ol' MD 20/20. Now why would anyone think it's a bad idea to drink something called Mad Dog, or why would they become confused later when they acted like one?

I like Kit Kat bars.

I was born the same day as Judge Reinhold, in the year that the influenza pandemic (also called "Asian flu"): Influenza A virus subtype H2N2, first identified in Guizhou province of China, spread to Singapore. It reaches Hong Kong by April and the United States by June, killing at least 1 million people worldwide.

Man, that's a lot of stuff! My favorite those was this quote from you post:

And God Created Woman, a film starring Bridgette Bardot, becomes a controversial sensation; many communities ban the film based on its supposed sexual content.

I started reading and thought, whoa! God Created Woman in '57. I thought it was waaaaaaay before that.
