Pretty much the whole opening paragraph sets up the premise...

This post was inspired by my happening upon this website www.sorryantivaxxer.com... it was posted in a comment by someone and it not only scared me into getting the vaccine, it also made me sit, mouth agape wondering just what the freak I had clicked on. Basically the site posts photos and snarky comments as well as screenshots of "anti-vaxxers" social media who didn't feel a burning urgency to obtain the vaccine and have died. I feel like naming and shaming dead people is an excellent strategy to motivate people to take their own health more seriously 

Because OBVIOUSLY naming and shaming dead people is disgusting and only psychopathic ghouls would do that.

Now. We know private businesses can and should take a stand against this public health crisis

Obviously this is mocking the calls for businesses to refuse business to the unvaccinated. These are personal choices people are making. If we really wanted to help obese people the way people claim they want to "help" anti-vaxxers they would do these things for them as well. Or do you doubt that hundreds of thousands of deaths a year are caused in America due to obesity?

Keep on thinking whatever you want about my intent but trust me if I was going to say something seriously mean about fat people I would. I'm not shy. I didn't step in anything and your fake fatherly tone is repulsive. If you are offended don't let the door hit ya where the good lord split ya and while you're out there try and find a sense of humor.

Yeah. It was kind of the point of the whole post to point out the hypocrisy of the whole vaccine personal choice thing. Very few people understood the point I was trying to make. Maybe I should have just said... "obesity kills hundreds of thousands a year. Why can't we mandate healthy food choices while we are mandating vaccines?" Although I suppose that would still offend everyone because no one gets irony I guess.

Lol. It is a sarcastic thread. No one got the irony of the fact that we can mandate vaccines but we can't mandate healthy food when obesity kills hundreds of thousands in the US every year. I am thankful for your insult though. I will wear it with pride.

Wow I think a lot of people need to take a chill pill it is not that serious. I think a lot of people actually don't recognize the hypocrisy otherwise we wouldn't be in this situation of impending totalitarianism.

You know you also have to consider the fact that healthy fruits and vegetables are expensive. Not everyone can afford to pay 5$ for 2-3 apples. So if your goal is mandating the "food supply". Please do, cause I wouldn't mind the free healthy foods. When I can barely afford rent.

Oh gosh. Why don't you just stop replying if you are just going to keep insulting me saying I'm deplorable depraved despicable, lacking empathy and compassion or whatever it is you think. I have not insulted you or anyone else at all in this thread but this seems to be the one and only tactic of certain people. All feelings and no facts and just insults when you don't understand. Apparently you did not understand any part of my post at all. Thats ok. A few people did understand my post and that it meant no offense at all and im grateful for that.

Totalitarianism has nothing to do with politics. It is ideology that transcends political party. I consider myself an apolitical person so this never even occurred to me.

It is really a win win situation because even subsidizing healthy food for everyone will be much much cheaper than the cost of medical care for the unhealthy obese who often end up on lifelong medications, needing heart surgeries, gastric bypass, all sorts of procedures. Plus we can decentivize growing corn for corn syrup and incentivize more healthy food. Corn syrup is a killer. Can overhaul the foodstamp program and not allow junk food. They can still buy it of course but just with their own money, not taxpayer money. These ideas are wildly unpopular and I have actually posted before on another forum about how foodstamps should be changed to mostly only allow foods that meet certain nutritional requirements and I got so much hate for that post. People said I was a horrible person who wanted to discriminate against poor people. Oh boy but when I am behind a family in the GAS STATION who is spending 30 dollars on candy and soda ON FOODSTAMPS, it just makes me wonder why. I know. I should ask. Everyone is so fragile and sensitive though, I don't want to get punched for my curiosity.

Ok this was a serious response here. I have to qualify that because no one understands me, which has been an ongoing problem in my life.

I am done with this. You tried to make it political, you have repeatedly insulted me, just over and over again. I never have insulted you so this really says a lot more about you than it does me. You have attempted to make me feel guilty or like a bad person for a facetious post I made to poke fun at the hypocrisy of vaccine mandates and mandates in general regarding personal choice.

Generally, when something offends me I just ignore it. But apparently that is just too hard for some people here. Certain people need to shame people, belittle them and call them names just because they don't understand and need to feel like a morally superior person. I have to say that since you are the one that tried to bring politics into this.... sorry to tell you the liberal guilt trips don't work on me. So like I said. If this thread offends you why keep coming back to it and insulting someone when you can just go on, ignore and live your life. You're not capable of that because you NEED to feel morally superior.

This thread was not that serious. This is the last time I am going to say it and I have apologized to people whom were offended by it except for the one person who is just constantly insulting me appropos of nothing and deserves no apology.

With absolutely no thought or concern for those who may be on that same path, struggling and suffering with no easy answers, and with no compassion or empathy for the loved ones left behind and still grieving for their dead.

Did you not see the sorryantivaxxer site that I said inspired my post? Did you not see my comment where I said I was disgusted by that sorry anti-vaxxers site making fun of dead people who didn't get the vaccine and that is why I made this post? Because someone here smugly posted a link to that site on another thread as evidence that anti-vaxxers are stupid?

Got anything to add other than more name calling? Or can you actually point to anything I actually said that was making fun of anyone or "dancing on their grave"? Does anything I have said rise to the level of insult and bullying you have attempted to use on me?

I already reported it and I can't report it again right now and I did ask them to remove this whole thread because I offended people I do have respect for on this site and that was not my intent and I see ABSOLUTELY NO VALUE WHATSOEVER in continuing to participate in this "conversation" when all it is is just you insulting me. Why can't we mandate radiation treatments for everyone just like we're mandating vaccines for everyone?"

Then, I think anyone who read your post would have seen what you apparently intended much more clearly.
