Michigan Swampbuck disappeared from Google

Before I switched to Duck, Duck, Go, Google would bring up ATS posts instantly. Now if I search my handle on Google in relation to ATS, ziltch. DDG has some results from around the net including ATS for Michigan Swamp Buck, but Google isn't giving up much on ATS results.

ETA: Yandex only does slightly better when searching "Michigan Swampbuck Above Top Secret", but not much better.

Wow, before there were no rickymouses on search engines except me. Now there seems to be a half dozen Ricky Mouses and Rickymouses, but only one presently shows up for ATS which is me. The other Rickymouses seem to have a lot more fun than I do anymore, reminds me of when I was younger and dumber and hormone driven.

I suspect that this means that either Google has censored ATS or Michigan Swampbuck, or both. I guess I left Google at the right time. Not to see how to promote buck on the crawlers.

You are right. I just tried it on g.... also, no results. I don't have DDG though.

Yahoo, Bing, Qwant and AOL is producing better results for some reason. They are similar, almost exact results and sparse compared to a couple years ago on Google.

In the title, you added a space, but there's not one in your name. Might make a difference.

Searching 'MichiganSwampbuck' on Bing, even without adding anything about ATS to the search, it gave me your profile, or whatever the page is called that has the list of all of your Threads.

I didn't even realize the 'test' part until after I posted the comment. I don't know what that means, but regardless, it takes me to the page of your Threads.

That's not bad. I've googled screen names from ATS before on goog le, it can get pretty informative for pages. This is good to know.

ETA: Not Google though from what I just got. Not much on the others including Bing. It's a blacklist I'm a thinking.

How do you mean? It is good to not have much search engine exposure? I'm not getting it.

Nothing on my social media persona "Buck Marsh" on FB, Gab, Parlor and Yub Nub. I like the veteran name sake though. Still indicates censorship on search engines across the board.

Could it not be something as innocuous as the new owners including a robot.txt file the excludes such searches, now they've added https?

I was into SEO and using everything to test the crawlers and I did well for years. I haven't done any research on SEO for at least ten years and this is where we are now. It hasn't been that long since this type of censoring has been going on though.

I never search anything about myself, not real name or any user names. I don't wanna know what I might find, but I do know I would prefer it if there was absolutely no results.

I can be found as "Michigan Swamp buck", "Michigan Swampbuck", and "MichiganSwampbuck" on only three forums, but not on Google. I used to come up in spades, not now it seems.

I do find it interesting that my personal forum on subjects I publish my research on comes up first on almost any search engine. So I put it there and it can be found, but I post on ATS and no dice, very interesting indeed.

I think I made the list as Michigan Swamp Buck. I feel like I deserve a pat on the back and "atta boy!" for that one. Next step is get on the "no fly list".

I'm coming to the conclusion that if I can't find it on DDG, then use Yahoo or Bing then Yandex. Choices are getting sparse it seems.

Type "MichiganSwampbuck" into Google including the quotes and you'll see all your posts on this site.

Michigan Swampbuck without quotes and the results are mostly about deer in Michigan and their habitats, which makes perfect sense.

This is simply a factor of auto-correction (or over-correction ) and/or search relevance for those keywords.
