I'm hoping they did and paid crazy money and so and printer are now stinking rich.

Years ago I made a thread on I forget what. A new member commented and I noticed the name that could have been associated with the Moonie cult. I made several attempts to draw that person out in non-accusatory conversation and they left the thread.

A short time later I noticed a reply to my introduction thread from years before. This new member had gone back to read my intro where I had mentioned that I had been in that cult myself decades ago. That reply was the last post that member made as well.

Your example is interesting though. One post and gone. It's not as if your OP was that controversial at that time. Yes it was right on the edge of the quarantine period. What you posted was soon to become reality. Maybe that one post member who denied your prediction so vehemently realized that their debut into ATS discussion was so completely wrong that they decided to give it up and go home.

Maybe they caught covid that night and went ''Poof'' big time. Ya never know.

Regardless of their reason for doing so (whether they may or may not have some sort of affiliation to... whatever), I have wondered if sometimes people make an additional account for the sole purpose of replying to a specific thread, or to shyt-talk to the OP.

Maybe they don't want the comment associated with their main account.

On a few occasions, I've noticed the username was obviously referencing what they said in that first post, and then seem to disappear afterwards.

Why would they care about a bunch of nobodies? Most people are harmless.

If they want to look for trouble they should examine the departments of the federal government, although the CIA is not supposed to operate domestically.
