Taliban Texas, taking women's rights away one at a time.

Sorry to interrupt your mass genocide....

I take it you are a taliban supporter. Stay away from me, thanks.

I take it you like to kill babies. Stay away from everyone, thanks.

I've never killed anyone.

I'm having trouble hearing you , must be that face covering of yours. Swap it with the white hood you usually wear?

Your perspective is incredibly bias and old fashioned. This fictional "mum" you are describing is like no "mum" I have ever known.

Just so that you are aware of how the pregnancy works... the genetic females or "future mums" are built to carry and birth the baby. The genetic Male's are not equipped to do this by design.

You seem to like to state how detrimental it is for this interaction to play out for these poor future mums. I wonder if there would be other options such as not getting pregnant via being celibate, on birth control while also using condoms or adoption of a child if performing your designed function during this process is such a major detriment.

Your argument that these mums are basically martyrs for having to take time off work to give birth, losing face time in the office or having to carry the child to term - which as established is how their bodies are designed. When something is designed to perform a function it is not a "hardship" to perform that function... it's what it was designed to do.

Assuming all dads and future dads are deadbeats is insanely sexist. The whole idea that somehow a mum is closer to the child than the dad is absurd as well. Every situation is different and to try and lump them all together like that is beyond ignorant.

I think you need to come down off your cross and walk down the stairs if your ivory tower. Your views are bias, out dated and ignorant beyond belief.

Exactly. People want to have their cake and eat it too. Perfectly fine for these deranged lunatics to want to murder a baby an hour before birth (in some states) while having laws in place that charge people with double homicide if the mom is killed resulting in the babies death.

This law is starts when the heartbeat begins which is, on average, 6 weeks. Now do you get it?

There is no heart at 6 weeks. Just an electrical impulse.

WRONG

5th week The developing heart is made up of two tubes that have fused in the middle, creating a trunk with four tubes branching off.

The heart begins to beat, and it may be possible to detect it using vaginal ultrasound.

www.medicalnewstoday.com...

The mayo clinic has info on this.
They hate science all of a sudden.
What will they do when science shows the child can think and feel at that age.

The separation of child/fetus is all they really had as murder is already a crime.

Interesting to compare this to the reproducutive science industry. All those fertilized eggs are someones child. And the legal paperwork required for that, whew.

I don't care what your view on abortion is, this law privatizes fascism, fosters vigilantism and encourages stalking and harassing individuals that the government can't.

You know the best way the left can get back at the right for this? Pass the same kinda laws for the unvaccinated and unmasked. Allow private citizens to sue the unvaccinated and unmasked for putting their lives in danger.

I dont advocate anything. I believe a woman has choices over what she does with her body, you dont.

A 6 week old fetus doesn't have a "heart". It has a developing heart. Just like it doesn't have arms and legs, it has little leg and arm buds that are developing arms and legs. A 6 week old fetus isn't a baby, it's a potential baby developing in the womb.

An acorn isn't an Oak tree, it's a potential Oak tree.

Have you had a chat with your grandma lately?
And by the way, females aren't born equipped to give birth. It is a task that their bodies have to grow and developed well into their tern years.
Children having children is not healthy for the children. No exception for rape or incest, at least for young teens should be enough to encourage every women to chose abstinence till the crazy men who are running the show stop with this happy horse crap!

Not equivalent. In this case the unmasked/unvaccinated folks are supposed to represent the women seeking an abortion, right? First of all, there is zero risk of anyone catching pregnancy from a pregnant woman seeking an abortion.

Under this Texas law, she can't be sued. Only people that seek to aid her in getting an abortion can be sued. So, in your unvaccinated/unmasked scenario, vigilante bounty hunters seeking a $10,000 payoff would have to sue the people that aided and abetted the individual in NOT wearing a mask and NOT getting the vax. That isn't realistic because nobody else can help you not get vaxxed or aid and abet your choice to not wear a mask.

If a houseguest comes to your home and you agree to let him stay a spell comes in and you find that the groceries that you thought would last a week is gone in two days because the guy is a 24 hour eating machine and you are waking up every morning with stacks of dirty dishes, pots and pans, and oh, look, he forgot to turn off the oven. Wonder how long that has been on. Then you notice a huge hole that was punched into the wall. Tell me, do you feel like you have a legal right to throw him out of your house?

We have exterminated entire tribes of native americans... and it was their land that we wanted to claim as our own.

Well, what' is the difference between the unruly house guest that is causing so much havoc in your household and destroying your home and budget and a women who's pregnancy is causing enough havoc in her body that the whole household is being turned upside down? She has just as much right as you do to evict the source of the chaos from her castle, her body.

It's black market, back alley time in Texas!

Do you think the baby cares if they are murder in a back alley or in a clinic?

Asking for a pro-life friend.

Do you think they care if the deed is done at 6 weeks or at 20 weeks?

If you said yes, you'd be wrong, because a fetus doesn't have the capacity to "care", to desire or to hope.

I may be pro-abortion myself; but I am not arrogant enough to claim I have a complete understanding of the spiritual aspects of death. I don't know with what capacity people have to "care" after they have died.

I don't know anyone who's "pro-abortion", but I know plenty of people that are "pro-choice".

I'm not sure what you're suggesting here. Do you postulate that conception gives rise to a brand new immortal "soul" that has feelings of hope, concerns, desires and goals? Or, do you postulate souls who lost previous bodies through death are lined up in wait of bodies that they have hopes, concerns, desires and goals for?

I don't know. Can bounty hunters sue people who teach statistically abortions are safer than carrying a pregnancy to term, and safer than a colonoscopy? Can they sue the Yellow Pages or YELP for listing abortion clinics and/or doctors who are abortion friendly? Can they sue the ACLU for fighting to keep clinic open?

I don't think those options will hold water, but I could be wrong.

Maybe it is just me, but I would think that any soul that found itself trapped in a fetal body so damaged that is was destined to be born, suffer a few hours, or days struggling to live, and then die would be grateful to find itself back standing in that line waiting for another turn at the roulette wheel.

Maybe some souls crave punishment, and get right back in the "destine to born painfully diseased and then die a slow lonely death" line, or the "to be aborted" line!

Those terms mean exactly the same thing; I wonder why so many people like to boil their opinions on controversial issues down into more palatable euphemisms. It makes me wonder how strong their conversations are.

I have postulated that I am not arrogant enough to believe that I know the answers to these questions.

As a result of my acceptance of ignorance on the subject I am not quick to proclaim that my opinion on the subject is the only acceptable one and everyone else who may have a different opinion is wrong and stupid.

This in turn allows me to understand the position other people might be in and while I might disagree with them I can still have a dialog with them in the hopes of working out our differences or at least finding a compromise.

Its unfortunate that more people don't feel this way; the world would be a more peaceful place. "I'm right and your wrong" is the bases of all conflict we see today.

Well, they are saying that they will be able to sue the uber driver who drives her to the clinic...
Not really sure how the uber driver would know that she is planning on getting an abortion if the clinic is offering other services also, which is very well possible.
