Note the lead vehicle with the long load sign? He saw what was happening and decided to get the heck out of Dodge pronto.

And finally, for those who have not had enough truck vrs train fights here is one more video that suggests which will always be the winner.

A bunch of them look to be oversized loads getting hung up at the grade crossing and the only oversized load I know that can stand up to a train is DB.

Your OP text reminds me of trucker balls/stupidity.
We were driving up a very steep mountain road and my little 4 cylinder is vrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr trying its best. A huge 53' tractor trailer goes whirring by me and the car in front of me, on a no pass road, in the wrong lane of course, on a blind curve! and barely misses oncoming traffic. lol Insane.

All I can say is...Oooooh my God. Oooh my God. Ooooh my God . Oooooh my God.

Come meet the GTA V train, it has been years I played but it's still choochin I heard. Nothing stops this beast.

I forgot trucks have no reverse gear. Makes total sense now

If you look closer at some of them the trailer is caught on the grade because they aren't exactly flat, they're convex so they drain properly.

Looks like lead car screwed up. Also surprised no one coordinated with railroad schedule. Seems they were taking their sweet time to make the turn only for train to show up.

Here in Chicago we always get a few cars hit by commuter and freight trains at a few crossings because dumbasses aren't paying attention to traffic pattern/build up in front of them and get stuck on the tracks during rush hour like how people block intersections.

Maybe it is an insurance thing?
If you tear down half the train passage but your cargo is save it's on you, if a train hits you it's on both?

No, the train always has the right of way and all damages are on the trucker/trucking company. As a matter of fact they operate on something implicitly called a 'right-of-way'.

Technically they are still kings of the roads. Just not the rail roads
