Operation Pineapple Express.

If anyone knows how to get a hold of Retired Major Jim Gant, US Army and Green Beret of Operation Pineapple Express, please let me know. And let me explain why. I have over 25 years in Trauma ER, Trauma ICU and Child/Adult Psychiatrics. I have over six different Advanced Certifications in these fields, and if the Major deems me acceptable, I will pay my own way, to go Afghanistan, and assist with the evacuation of American citizens. I think many of us are tired of the pathetic non response of the current Administration. If I am deemed good enough to assist in saving lives and assisting in the repatriation of Americans citizens, then with God's speed, I go.

Was a pleasure to be able to (maybe) help you helping others.

I've learned, although we were not hit directly in my region with floods, that in times like these you can't rely on sufficient help from the officials. That's why we all need to stick together, regardless the country we are from.

Call me old school or blame it on my heritage, someone that serves or served for his or her country receives bonus respect and help. Country or personal reasons do not matter, it's the idea that counts and ultimately they serve for us civilians, although most often abused by political figures.
