Biden says “I’m not supposed to take questions”

In an address this afternoon biden read off his teleprompter talking about the incoming hurricane.
After he finished reading his script, he says aloud, “ I’m not supposed to take questions, but go ahead”

Immediately he was asked about Afghanistan. He said I’m not going to talk about that right now and walked off.

My question to you all is, do you think it was a figure of speech, alluding to perhaps he doesn’t have enough time to take questions?
Or...
Do you think his handlers told him, read your script, shut the hell up and get out of there. Your not taking questions you bumbling idiot.

what was it in your opinion?

Biden accidentally slipping his masters told him not to take questions, sorta like his “ they gave me a list of reporters I have to call on”

Or was it a time constraint issue?

Exactly- addressing the nation in times of need and clarity, and being the man responsible for all actions of government is the job.

Unfortunately, no one told ol joey that yet.

I'm guessing it was a bit of both.

He thought he'd give it a go anyways and as soon as Afghanistan came up he shot off sharpish.

I'd imagine the phrase "we told you so" was used as soon as he got backstage.

It’s my opinion and I am sure it’s also the opinion of many others that Joe Biden is an absolute loser that the Dems cheated into the WH.

Trump as a light years better president, wouldn’t have shied away from any questions and never did.

Hours earlier...the POS was just at a photo op where the bodies of 13 American heroes were being unloaded from a plane from AFGHANISTAN...after being blown to bits in AFGHANISTAN...after Joe Biden personally botched the withdrawal from AFGHANISTAN...

At some press conference awhile back, after making his statements, Biden asked Pelosi for permission. He said, "I'm happy to take questions if that what you I'm supposed to do Nance. Whatever you want me to do."

Apparently a different microphone caught what Pelosi said. "Am I on? No we don't want him to talk."
