Fact is the UK actually could. We could send 16 Air Assault Brigade, elements of 7RHA (para artillery support) and 3 commando Brigade with accompanying air support within 24 hours, which is what these units were designed to do (I was 16 Air Assault)

But there has to be the political will to make it happen

American Generals probably having a group cry session because of how triggering and micro-aggressive the situation is. They thought they would only have to teach crt and manage lgbt inclusion! That’s what the inclusive and diverse promotions board told them. God forbid they have to do actual military stuff.

It's totally frustrating when you know the capabilities of what used to be MAC, AMC, what have you. this has been a known variable for months. We should have been pumping folks out of Bagram for weeks now. It wasn't a horribly difficult scenario.

This won't happen in a week with the lack of planning and leadership we see here. I pray for those left behind.

We definitely should but I haven't heard anything on the military grapevine. I think now the US is bugging out that we are going to have to send the rest of our Spearhead units
