Here's a recipe you might want to try, it's how a grandmother of mine used to cook it that she never taught my mom.
Place raw chicken in container; One suitable to amount of chicken pour buttermilk on it so no pieces show then cover the container and let it
refrigerate over night
(Flour mixture)
in large seal-able bag crumble up fried pork skins add them to flour mixed with McCormick chicken seasoning
Place chicken pieces in bag shake it up to coat right before frying
In hot oil pan maize(corn) oil or shortening then fry for seven minutes both sides.
I watched both my grandmothers in the kitchen cooking when I was growing up, and learned A lot. My other grandmother wouldn't share her crab cake
recipe with my mom either :p I guess there has to be one you hold back for yourself.
