I Get to Be Ripley!

I am soooo geeking out that I am literally bouncing in my computer chair.

I am getting one - a Nerf version, but it has the digital ammo counter on the side and everything. The only minor bummer is that it's Nerf, so it's day glo yellow.



So I will getting my very first Nerf gun, and I'll get to play Aliens with it.

Nothing that can't be fixed by getting some Tamiya military green and gunmetal spray paint cans from your local hobby shop....

Are you playing as Ripley in Fortnite? (I only know of this because of my youngster).

I would not use paint. You need pvc dye.

It is better than plastic paint or regular paint. I went with that link because of the color chart. You might get it locally cheeper at an auto parts store.

It actually sokes into the plastic. Just don’t touch it for a couple of days after using it. The plastic will be soft. You won’t leave finger prints but the surface will scrape easily until it is hard again.

I did a blue and orange 1911 over to black. It looks real with my GI Joe Air Adventurer suit. Just keep the muzzle orange to stay Ieagle. I hope they make the colors you need. That is the drawback. The limited color selection. I can give you instructions on how to mix and use custom colors if you need them but you will have to order that dye from eBay.

I'm very happy for you and hope you'll be safe while playing with your Nerf Gun.

I myself just learned and was happy to hear that one of my favorite toys now has the BlueTooth feature.

You should paint it with camouflage, no wait. Don't. lol

I wish I could say that I have lots of toys, but I don't. I just went into a hard geek out over this one and bought it before the impulse faded because ... why not?

You have to live a little, and I know Aliens well enough I can almost quote it. If I have to buy a geek toy, this seems appropriate.
