Next news cycle will be Henri and the “horrible destruction” or just flooding on Long Island. And the chaos of forcing Gov. Cuomo out on Tuesday after it hits and services blunder restoration of power, etc.

Anything to bury Afghanistan.

The power company is already telling us it will take more than 14 days to restore power. Even though they have double the crew they had in the last major storm.

If the result is the same there isn't much of a difference, but its there. I hate to think the result would be the same though. Falling for propaganda like this and not caring about 40,000 Americans left to die is hard to swallow. I am still mad about benghazi. Hell, I'm still mad about the hostages in Iran back in the 70's. And I know many people who feel the same. I think its a far stretch of the imagination to say Americans have short memories for things like that.

I'm afraid you may be right about Americans not caring about Biden and what he did or didn't do about Afghanistan.

USA thinks it's something special. They have military forces in over 100 countries around the world spouting their influence because they must have their big ass nose in other countries daily business while USA has enormous problems at home with people living in tents, Starving children, mentally ill and the insane walking their streets, racism, BLM, CRT, ANTIFA and so much more.

IMO USA has its own serious problems and they should solve their own issues before sticking their arrogant noses into other countries.

They hate being reminded of their own issues and having it smeared in their faces.....

It's time for a lesson for USA.... and it is coming...

Some factions within Fox News are hoping the Taliban murder a few Americans, to imprint a lasting, memorable black mark on President Joe Biden's legacy.

As for CNN, they are thankful a CAT1 hurricane is headed towards New England, so they don't have to talk about how Joe Biden has, and continues to, botch the U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan.

I noticed how CNN is leading off with, and consuming the first 20 minutes of every hour, with little Hurricane Henry.

Someone has to keep us up to date on their propaganda.

I'm not turning on CNN.

Or Fox.

Thank you Care!

What, are YOU going to teach them it?

I suspect you're just happy being the arrogant, self-righteous keyboard warrior.

One thing I can absolutely guarantee you is that despite all their faults, mistakes and failings - and there are plenty of them - we in UK will have their backs because we don't turn on or run away from our friends.

The US has made some catastrophically bad foreign policy decisions - as we are witnessing at present in Afghanistan - but the world would be a far worse place if it wasn't for the role they've played on the international stage.

Walk into any woke, Leftist Starbucks hangout and ask all the customers if they could point to Afghanistan on a map.

I bet 9 out of 10 would get it wrong

What, and 9 out of 10 Dixie loving rednecks would get it right?

Have you ever met any?

Haven't had the experience myself.

I have however met plenty of the idiotic brainwashed woke.

No starbux needed.

What Americans?
Yes, plenty.

Rednecks?
Yes, a few.

Generally very nice people.
Incredibly friendly and hospitable.
But also very insular in their outlook and take on things.

That's not a criticism just an observation.

That's not a national trait unique to the US its becoming an international trend that is infecting everywhere and respects no borders.

The truly frightening thing is I know a few intelligent and reasoned people who have become infected with the woke virus and not content with keeping their woke all to themselves are now actively trying to spread the woke to all and sundry with total disregard for the publics health and well being.

Was referring to the 'rednecks' of course.

If I ever met any I didn't notice.

Global wokeness

Hurray.

Already spread about as far as its going to here.

The rest of us are much to intelligent & stubborn for the brainwashing to be effective.

I worry about what happens when democrats figure that out.

Have shown no indication that they intend to stop escalating.

They already know what's coming.... been planned decades ago.

Yea....I know something....
