Gotta support joe by any means necessary, eh?

I don't support Biden nor his implementation of Trump's policy but then you already know that.

Troll on.

I don't care who you SAY you support.

Or even what country you live in.

Your words support joe.

And your words are what I respond to.

Because I am a trans pink elephant living behind a vegas dumpster typing random stuff on a phone this ugly woman found in the mud.

Any more believable than someone claiming to be, or to not be anything else online?

Just in case you really are that dumb:

I'm actually a broke retired astronaut with some moon rocks I'll sell real cheap...

"Not sure anyone is ready to accept a Taliban government but the reality is that if they are the government then we at least have to talk to them , we should judge them on their actions not on preconceived notions.... time will tell."

Taliban is ALREADY raping and beheading.

We did NOT need to let this happen.

And it is not yet too late.

Except joe.

The quote you posted does not show support of Biden or his mistaken decision , it is a fact of life , if they are the government then we have to engage with them like it or not otherwise we're back at square 1.

Two winners from this- Mexican drug cartels and opium growers. Now the cartels will have all the heroin they can supply to the US.And a importation business of Islamic terrorists into the US.Guess the Biden family will get really rich now.Opened the border, threw our allies to the Taliban all in 7 months.Pretty damn convienant.

I'm not sure if the opium is all to do with cartels.
Before 2001 in the UK it was harder to get for example heroin, there would be times when it would go dry.
Then after entering Afganistan,it was everywhere.Never again did it go dry.Cheaper and cheaper.
The price of say an eighth went from £250 to £80.
An awful coincidence unless the military industrial complex has it's grubby paws all over the opium.

Taliban and Democrats actually have a lot in common. It's no wonder they would be bedfellows.

That is a ridiculous comparison and takes away from the seriousness of what is happening to the Afghan people.

You should be ashamed and embarrassed.

I'd say kenobi is accurate in his statement. The democrats have normalized looting, glorify criminals that suit their agendas and don't seem to have a problem with immoral behaviors. What they all have in common is an intolerance for non conformity and higher vibrational consciousness.

Go and live under the taliban for a while and then come back and describe how accurate he is.

Ridiculous.

Yeah, when I read the UN asking the Taliban to treat women as equals, I almost spat my coffee out, if they honestly think they will treat women with respect, they are delusional! The Un is just something else, you can't reason with the Taliban, why do they think the Afghans were trying to flee, they know what's coming. I am really concerned about China and russia wanting to be on friendly terms with this group. I fear that WW3 is on the horizon, and quicker than I thought.

I love how people suddenly care about human right issues in Afghanistan. Its been the same there for centuries, but NOW, cuz its on TV, peeps got a conscious.

What about Syria? Women and children slaughtered every day now for many years. And They got all the ISIS women and kids locked up in cages. THATs gonna be where your next bunch of radicals comes from. But it aint on TV so nobody cares.

What about Africa? PLENTY there to poo-poo the UN over, but why no ATS outcry? Could it be...it aint on TeeVee???

I think I see a trend....I best go find a TeeVee so I can be outraged of what they want to me to be outraged about.

We will see a brutal, Islamic state rise again. They wont talk to us because they hate us. Afghanistan should have been left to it's own people! The army that we trained WERE the Taliban, why do you think they just rode through on motorcycles, all the way to Kabul!? Use your head man!

Perhaps after that diatribe you should calm down and think , don't take it out on me because you can't see the obvious that's happening , the Taliban are forming a government and the new leader of Afghanistan will be announced in the coming days according to their spokesman , the reason the military didn't put up a fight is because they didn't see the point a dying to protect a corrupt and ineffective government.

The group had already announced a "general amnesty" in Afghanistan earlier on Tuesday.

Shaheen told Sky News those who had worked with the previous government: "Their properties will be saved and their honour and their lives are safe."

Pressed on who would be leading the group in Afghanistan he said a consultation would be carried out, with a result expected in two to three days.

He said Mullah Baradar - one of the founders of the Taliban in the 1990s who is now its deputy leader - has arrived in Afghanistan.

We are where we are , getting upset about it isn't going to change that , all we can do is wait and watch.

This has been in the works since Obama.

I am glad we are out. Its been a 20 year debacle. Had to pull the plug sometime. Just rip that band aid off. Its gonna sting for a few days. Then the next disaster will hit and all will be forgotten.

Bet nobody even remembers Slobodon anymore.

They should have died to protect their daughters and their wives.

You're a liar.

They didn't fight because they agree with the Taliban and they always have. They have armed the Taliban. They didn't even try to fight, in some areas whole swathes of land was handed over without a single bullet being shot - they should have armed their wives, they'd be more effective!

Your narrative, that once aligns with the Dems, is one of total defeatism. You think the Taliban will follow a leader, more fool you, they're led by sheer ideology.

We have a RIGHT to be upset, not everything requires this cold, clinical analysis you people love pretend is normal!

I have family and friends who bled and died for this - FOR WHAT!? Absolutely nothing has changed, and now we're supposed to just accept that the Taliban will take over, get out! I'll never accept it because it's evil. We failed these people by allowing our politicians and military the power to nation build. We're all responsible for this, all of us. Now the children, women and small boys will suffer unimaginable pain because of this - but that's okay with you because I guess they're just in charge now....

You wont be afforded that luxury much longer. The western nations are about to buckle BIG time. I hope you're ready to reap the whirlwind - we wont be able to just brush these things off anymore when they come to our doorstep. We're all to blame for this, me too, for being so ignorant and small minded.

You're a liar.

Fine.

Why did the Afghan army disintegrate so quickly?
First, there was widespread corruption in Afghanistan’s defence and interior ministries where funds, ammunition and food deliveries were stolen before reaching the soldiers on the ground. The ammunition and other equipment were sold on the black market, eventually ending up in the Taliban’s hands.

Furthermore, some commanders embezzled money by submitting fund requests for the salaries of “ghost soldiers” – i.e. soldiers who had not actually signed up for the military. As this was happening, ANDSF personnel were kept unpaid and retained on duty without permission to leave and see their families for months.

Unsurprisingly, the ANDSF had one of the highest desertion and casualty rates in the world. According to one estimate, the ANDSF’s per month attrition rate was 5,000 while the recruitment rate was 300 to 500.

Second, the embezzlement and corruption undermined morale within the ranks of the army. The integrity of senior leadership is pivotal in military affairs to win the troops’ respect and loyalty. For unpaid soldiers, the lavish lifestyles of their commanders were often too much to swallow. Hence, instead of fighting and dying, they preferred to save their lives by surrendering to the Taliban under its amnesty offers.

I was planning on posting the paper waving after his return flight earlier and got lazy.

If only democrats had paid attention in history class.

The rhyming is almost impossible to miss lately.

If only we could get through the brainwashing.

History is repeating right in front of our eyes.

And we are powerless to stop it.

Unless democrats wake up from zombie trance before it's too late.

Hello ATS. I never, ever, ever thought, not in a bajillion years, that I'd be writing this thread!

We are seeing, in the aftermath of the Afghanistan debacle, a shift that can not be allowed to happen - it really must be stopped. The world is gearing itself to ACCEPT a Taliban government. I'm absolutely not kidding, I wish I was. We have become SO extreme that even these reprobate murderers are being given credence on the world stage by none other than the perfectly hypocritical UN.

Look here!

GENEVA — The United Nations is urging the Taliban to keep its “promises,” including its pledges to grant amnesty to former government workers in Afghanistan, show inclusiveness for women and allow girls to remain in school.

“The Taliban have made a number of statements that on the surface are reassuring,” UN human rights office spokesman Rupert Colville tells reporters in Geneva. “But their actions speak deeper than words, and it’s very early now – it’s very fluid.”

You can NOT be serious, right?

and this.

China’s remarkable shift was on display little more than two weeks ago, when Foreign Minister Wang Yi welcomed a Taliban delegation to the northern port of Tianjin as the group made gains against the administration of President Ashraf Ghani, who fled the country on Sunday. Wang’s endorsement of the Taliban’s “important role” in governing Afghanistan provided a crucial boost of legitimacy for an organization that has long been a global pariah due to its support of terrorism and the repression of women.

Why are people and even nations, mainly Russia, China and now the UN, even talking about the Taliban as though they're just people with a differing point of view!? They're not, these people are absolutely animalistic! They're degenerates who deserve the life of misery they live. They have made their beds and should lie in them. They behead their perceived enemies and rape their way through continents. These 'misunderstood' statesman have supported every egregious act of terror ever initiated against the west and those in alliances with the west.....

The Taliban will not form a government, they'll seperate into mobs of roaming marauders, hell bent on revenge and bloodshed, to pretend otherwise is an absolute INSULT to any thinking person.

I will NOT let the likes of Tony Blair, George Bush and the now administrations of our insane countries to rebrand the Taliban as some misunderstood force for good in the middle east, they just needed 'teaching' is all. They can DO ONE.

The Taliban are a force for pure evil and murder, and ANYONE who tries to support these degenerates because their policies didn't work should be dropped in the ocean and left there....

If the world accepts this as 'just another messed up thing' stop the planet because I'm getting OFF!

Remind yourself, they'll only feed us this story to cover up their own incompetence and lies, they will blame past administrations and pretend like this is all their fault. They will re-brand the Taliban rather than admit their own incompetence. We do not have competent people in charge of us and it's showing BIG TIME.... They're covering their crimes in real time...

The Taliban has nothing on China. Why are we worried about the Taliban? Until China gives them some nukes, the Taliban is a local problem.
