Even though it was a naturally occuring phenomenon, (although that was the first time one had appeared on Earth), it was God's symbol to man. That's why you shouldn't complain about it when somebody "steals" your symbol, when you did the very same thing. It was God's symbol, not to be appropriated by Satan for an ulterior motive like it is being used for today.

Whilst I agree somewhat, the theory goes belly up when boys who say they are girls go full mental jacket with pink, long hair, painted fingernails etc.

The worrying aspect of all religions (I know of) is that when they define "sin", they don't view abusing kids as a special sin.

I really do doubt that there are many 4 year olds turning up on their first say of school who are saying to the teacher "Actually sir its Amy, not Adam and i would thank you to use gender nutural pronounds when talking to me as i identify as a gender fluid bisexual demi-girl or i may get triggered and report you"

Its just not happening, my sister teaches pre-school they know the differance betwen boy, girl, dog and poop, they are not of a age that they're able to comprehend the idea of being trans. Now sure as they get older that might change and i personally do think that teaching staff should support children so if 13 year old dave wan't to be called doris then i think schools have a responsibility to supoort thsoe students.

But i can tell you right now, most kids are really only using this for one thing, to mess with the new French teacher and fufill their pervented fantacies of getting into girls changing room.

As for the name thing its alwasy been that way. little margort might want to be called peggy, Antoney wants to be called Tony and then there is that kid everyone has called Shug since he was old enough to talk even though his name is boris. That has always been the way of it.

Its not like 4 year olds are sending off for passports with their new name and gender.

I feel like this is one of those cases where outraged people want to be outraged because it fits their agenda and idelogy but in reality its just not an issue.

All I know is some of this is really being pushed on kids that are really just exhibiting normal childhood behavior...

I wonder where exactly they're getting the idea from in the first place. I mean, when they first get to school, do the teachers just propose this idea to every student..

example: Teacher says, "Ok Billy. I know you've always been a boy, but I'm gonna tell you right now that you no longer have to be. Would you like to be a girl instead?"

Because if the kid truly does feel that way, then they should already know it. They should not need to be presented with the option.




This is just an assumption, but right after typing that↑, I realize that the people who support this idea, if they were to read what I just wrote, some of them would probably respond to me by saying:

"But they're only 4 years old. They aren't yet old enough to realize that they have this option, so we have to make sure to let them know that the choice is theirs."

Which of course, if they aren't old enough to realize they have this option, then they also are not old enough to make this decision either.

Long hair and painted fingernails are in no way related to any specific gender. Nor is the color 'pink'.

Long hair is a style. Fingernails can be painted. Pink is color, just like many other colors.

Yet you've conveniently ignored the fact that this is SNP policy and that teachers will not be informing parents if their children wish to be considered transgender etc or not.

Whilst it may not be an everyday occurrence - certainly more common now than it was when I was a child - but there have been instances of toddlers as young as three wanting to be identified as transgender. (Where they get the idea from in the first place is another conversation).

Would you be happy if your child, regardless of age, was being called Norma and not Norman at school and was considered a girl and the school did not inform you and consult with you?

I am also concerned that the more this nonsense grows, the more uprising there will be from extreme religious people.

I find it strange how the gvt can pander to the same 2 groups who hate each other. I wouldn't be surprised if the gvt wasn't already under pressure to put a stop to this craziness by... Well you know who.

It really wouldn't bother me if my kid wanted to be called sally or shaun.

I love em either way, doesn't change anything, if it makes them happier to identify and be supported in changing gender then so be it.

Also again, the reality of this is that teacher would mention it to parents, you know it would come up at parents night or something like that. I don't think this is a keep it secret from the parents type of thing.

Ive not heard anything about it.

Weans are not back to School until next week all the same.

Ile have to have a word with the new teacher but i don't see them doing anything to our kids without asking us or informing us first.

Nether do i see anybody pushing transgender issues on kids at School, its accepted these days, but i don't see them shovelling it down there throats.

What JAGStorm would seem to be suggesting would amount to going behind the patents backs, which quite possible could end in tears, the teachers tears that is.

Physics suggests rainbows are a meteorological phenomenon caused by refraction and dispersion of light in water droplets which results in a spectrum of light appearing in the sky.

I don't seem to recall it saying anywhere on Rainbows property of God or Satan for that matter.
