France took a big step Monday into a post-pandemic future by requiring people to show a QR code proving they have a special virus pass before they can enjoy restaurants and cafes or travel by plane, train or bus across the country.
The pass is now required on high-speed, intercity and night trains, which carry over 400,000 passengers per day in France, Transport Minister Jean-Baptiste Djebbari said Monday. It is also required on long-distance travels by plane or bus. “We’re going to enforce massive controls,” Djebbari said.
The law also requires French health care workers to be vaccinated against the virus by Sept. 15.
This is the elitist idea of "Normality"

Cool starry bra. I took a European vacation in June, and I'm going to Grand Cayman next month. Having a magnetic shoulder is not all that bad.

It's also not all that effective, almost definitely sub 40% for the next variant.
Hope it doesn't hit before vacation time!

“COVID-19 could be eradicated if we had mass vaccinations across the country and across the world,” O’Farrell said before noting the United States’ history eradicating smallpox and mostly eradicating polio through vaccinations. “Why on Earth is it OK in 2021 to have 30 plus people die in the county of Los Angeles from COVID over a three-day period, including an 11-year- old girl, when we have a vaccine that could have prevented all of that, accessible to everyone,” O’Farrell said.
“This is not a vaccine mandate…we’re not going to deny anyone the ability to access essentials, food, medicine, etc., regardless of vaccination…but what is immoral is choosing not to get vaccinated, choosing to listen to some delusional rant on Twitter,” he added.

I enjoy my vacations. I try to take 3 a year. This year I've been to Yellowstone, London, and I'll be in Grand Cayman in a few weeks. Enjoy your time at home.
