For everyone saying these tests happen multiple times throughout the year are wrong. The EBS happens multiple times throughout the year but not a nationwide EAS or WEA which is what is happening tomorrow.
This specific test has two parts:
First part is the Nationwide EAS test which has only happened 5 other times. This will happen at 2:20pm eastern time, 1:20 central time.

Did something significant happen in the United States those prior 5 times?

Is this how they activate the chips in people?
Joking not joking.
For people that think Tv programming is all innocent obviously don’t know about subliminal messages and how they work.

Well, we have still not heard a peep from our ISP.
Maybe they are too big to care what happens to their customers.
I'm curious as to what the hell kind of firmware update the government would be putting on citizen's routers......

But like CWM said...which 2pm...EST, CST, PST??????
Seriously, my husband suggested we unplug the cable....or is there a better way???
Nothing that I know of.
I am just curious as to why one may have to reset the router .
This may be for some form of new EBS system that has to include a "firmware" update.
Comcast/Xfinity restarts all its customer's routers after a firmware update, or just to "refresh" things from time-to-time.
