1st test: November 9, 2011
2nd test: September 28, 2016
3rd test: September 27, 2017
4th test: October 3, 2018 (delayed from September 20, 2018 due to Hurricane Florence)
5th test: August 7, 2019

I'm curious as to what the hell kind of firmware update the government would be putting on citizen's routers......

The only thing I can think of is to put in tracking to see what people are searching or watching, making ready to round up the anti-vaccine people.

I said this on another thread.....but what concerns me is look at history and the things that happen after tests and drills.

I am just curious as to why one may have to reset the router .
This may be for some form of new EBS system that has to include a "firmware" update.

Comcast/Xfinity restarts all its customer's routers after a firmware update, or just to "refresh" things from time-to-time.

It says that you "may" have to reboot, you might not even have to do anything at all besides being interrupted watching Perry mason reruns

No matter what the length and the result of this action this shows there is a bigger problem then these announcements.
It is the distrust of the govt. In the past when these tests occurred I just sat and waited until they were over and resumed what I was watching. Now because of the current govt and their actions no one trusts them. We always have to think there is a ulterior motive for their actions. That is a healthy attitude because there usually is! We won't know what their motive was until it becomes very obvious to us. Then it will probably too late.
Unless something is done we are headed for socialist/communist rule in the very near future.
The things that are happening in this country should sound familiar to those who pay attention and know a little history.
