Flu shots may protect against severe COVID complications!

Poor, poor, Teikiatsu ... the man has been in vaccines as a career for over 20 years, and these days he's beginning to feel like he's fallen into idiocracy and cannot climb out.

A new study reveals the annual influenza vaccine may provide significant protection against some of the most serious complications from a coronavirus infection.

Researchers from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine say the largest study of its kind to date has discovered that the basic flu shot lowers the risk of stroke, sepsis, and blood clots in patients with COVID-19. Moreover, COVID patients who have been vaccinated against the flu are also less likely to need hospitalization or enter the intensive care unit.

Is it just me, or is there a massive point flying right over the writer's head here? The flu disappeared and now we're having this "study" that shows that the flu shot (another vaccine against the flu - a supposedly disappeared disease) prevents severe illness from a disease it shouldn't do a damn thing for?

Vaccines are specific, not prophylactics!

So did it occur to no one that perhaps the severe illness being prevented was severe flu, not COVID, especially since we also know the new tests will differentiate between COVID and influenza?

The Miami team says it’s unclear what exactly makes a flu shot so protective for COVID patients. However, the team theorizes that the influenza vaccine boosts the body’s innate immune system — strengthening the defenses that protect against all forms of illness.

Hmmm ... did they discover whether or not the patients were sick from COVID or flu first?

There was never a pandemic. It was just a virus like a cold or flu virus and sure it killed, just like the flu has killed every year. Eating raw cookie dough is dangerous and can kill.

This Wuhan China Kung Flu that may or may not have been created by ________ had one purpose: to see who'd jump when the government said jump.

They're sizing us up to see who and how many will be a problem when it comes time to offer the Mark of the Beast. It's too damn similar to think otherwise.

Travel restrictions, shopping restrictions, job restrictions, school restrictions.... And on top of that, another round of lockdowns like 2020 is guaranteed to kill mom n' pop stores indefinitely and crash the dollar.

And I believe the tech giant leaders are working with Schwabb and Fauci to initiate the reset they want. Gates and Bezos are getting RICH because of lockdowns.

It's a modern game of Risk except in this version corporations are taking over countries. Once we're all employees of the State, we'll no longer be free as a people.

It would be interesting to find out a few things here, or even if anyone has been studying this and correlating data.

One thing being whether the people who died from covid were vaccinated against the flu.

Another being whether they were tested for flu after being admitted for/dying from covid.

No, no, no! This is wrong. It can't help the flu because the flu has disappeared.

So has everything else. People hardly ever die from anything else anymore.

Matter of fact, I think that maybe this WuFlu thing is the best thing that's ever happened to mankind; it seems to have run off most every other major illness. It's cured everything from "old style" flu to gun shots.

COVID-19 doesn't cure the flu, and the flu doesn't cure COVID-19. You can have both of them at the same time.

The flu didn't go away, ether.

Also, if you are in a weakened state from one virus, and catch another, you end up in an even weaker state. It's fairly obvious.
