An actual conspiracy? Jan 6th, USA Capitol

Hello All,

Full disclosure, I saw this topic circulating on other social media platforms, but I wanted to bring it to the enlightened minds of this forum to review and discuss.

Jan 6, anyway you slice it, that event was crazy. Whether instigated by a former president or it was a demonstration regarding the preservation of rights and freedoms etc. that got out of hand.

In any event, there remains a question about whether or not there was any premeditation or intention to create a scenario that was a powder keg that could explode.

I present to the ATS community the following possible conspiracy to attack the capital on Jan 6th;

Why did Lauren Boebert lead a late-night Capitol tour three weeks before Jan. 6?

The article summarizes an event where Lauren Boebert, a soon to be member of Congress at the time, unusually and very privately organized a tour of the US Congress building to a group of individuals that is beyond the norm.

There are several unanswered questions about this visit, which appears to have violated normal Capitol protocol in various ways. It's not clear who authorized it, since Boebert was not yet a member of Congress and had no official standing in D.C. It's perhaps even stranger that it occurred on a Saturday night, when the Capitol complex is closed. Later, in the aftermath of the Jan. 6 attack, Boebert repeatedly denied rumors that she had offered "reconnaissance tours" to would-be rioters shortly before that event. But her ambiguous comments appeared to avoid any specific discussion of this unexplained December tour.

Could this have been a recon to map the interior of Congress to help demonstrators get to the most sensitive areas? Was there an intention to provide this information to have this demonstration ultimately get to the members of Congress and stop the confirmation of President Elect Biden?

Boebert has not hidden her intentions and allegiances,She was present before and during the crazy event;

This video makes clear that Boebert was in Washington on the day of the first "Stop the Steal" rally on Dec. 12, and also that on Jan. 6 Boebert and her mother visited the Save America rally at around 8:15 a.m., posing for photos with VIPs at the front of the stage.

Was there focused recon to help enable the capital riots on Jan 6th? Is this just another piece of the conspiratorial puzzle?

Bunch of BS. The article references Salon.....that should be a quick BS alarm.

The article you linked to even says the people were her mom and sons and a capitol security officer.

So no.....no conspiracy. This person had no power at the time to do anything....still has no power to do much of anything.

Whatever happened was pretty tame....as far as "insurrections" go.....though I wouldn't put this in that category. Only snowflakes put it in that category....those that have never seen what a real insurrection looks like, one that is actually violent with thousands of angry people....this wasn't that.

Anywho....I think the author of that article is clearly biased and just trying to get hits. Why you may ask? The simple start of one paragraph stating a "maskless officer" accompanied them. Please let me know what point in any of the article that this particular distinction makes any sense with the story.....bias and crap writing.

My favorite part of that article was this:

Given that Jayapal wasn't at her desk, but was instead in the upper galley when people "busted" in, well came inside the upper galley after Jayapal opened the door for them. Then after wards she claimed to have tested positive for the covid and couldn't be interviewed about this event. She even got away without being investigated at all for her part in this act.

There needs to be an investigation into her activities, but unfortunately Socialist Alternative controls her and her district, as well as enough other members of Congress at this point to shut down any looking into their activities. SA for those not in the know/care is a Trotskyist Organization with offices all around the world in most of the major cities. I believe Moscow might be one of the few major cities with no offices in it. The number two member for SA is a city council member in Jayapal's district. Can you guess how she got positioned in to office? Either of them.

Please stay on topic. The source of the article is just pulling information together. Same caliber of a lot of the garbage that is posted on these boards. That being said, the idea is intriguing. Please focus on that.

That article is just trying TOO hard to draw lines to things they are imagining and hoping for.....

No. She had nothing to do with the FBI and Antifa's planned set up on January 6th.

Unless you believe her mom and 2 of her sons are masterminds that have never been involved in government or anything else prior, then the story is crap.

If the writer had any scruples they would have at least given some info that points to anything nefarious by any of the 4 Boeberts in the past.

Now....is it more believable that what the article states is true? Tens of thousands of people followed orders or plans from her family?

P.S. there are a hell of a lot more credibly researched threads on ATS than you likely read in any news report anywhere.....definitely more so that whomever wrote that crap.

There are actual videos of Capitol police letting people in by moving fences, opening doors, escorting them to the chambers, standing around doing literally nothing while actual Trump supporters are BEGGING them to do something, Capitol police standing around talking with actual members of antifa and giving them the OK, antifa members changing into Trump clothing, Trump members calling out antifa people yelling at them to STOP breaking windows.........so on and so forth. Lots of evidence of posts across the chans planning to show up in Trump gear and blend in with Trump supporters.

Trump asking for the National Guard to deployed, and Nancy saying NO.

The evidence is enormous that this was planned by leftists domestic terrorists and no matter how hard the left TRIES to pin it on Trump and his supporters, they will continue to fail. There is just not enough evidence to support their wishes.

Compare and contrast with Nancy inviting people to dine out, stopping travel restrictions from infected countries and going to have her hair done amid the Covid Crisis.

Im in Colorado and have eaten at her restaurant dozens of times and met her just as many - before she ran and won. Her and her family are super normal everyday people. She may be a 'celebrity' now, but she was a 'nobody' like I am a few years back. She is not some mastermind terrorist's like the this article is trying to make her out to be.

If you truly want to get a picture of what happened, find out who the "Unindicted co-conspirators" are. They are people who were involved with the violence, but didn't get charges.

Dude, it is IMPOSSIBLE to not look and read ALTERNATIVE PERSPECTIVES because that is what is shoved in our faces.
However, we are intelligent enough to see thru that garbage and see what really happened that day.
