Just got it from the library:
Conspiracy: A history of bollocks theories, and how not to fall for them by Tom Phillips and Jonn Elledge
(Wildfire 2022).
I'll return to this with more reading in future, but so far similar to those just-16 guides to sex your parents may have strategically left on the
loo.
How not to become impregnated with conspiracies.
A refreshing reminder of sorts, but nothing you didn't already know by 13.
And some glaring unanswered questions: so 9/11 was an Islamist assault on the West (and nothing more), but endless migration into Western countries
means the "great replacement theory" is mere bonkers?
Uh, and aliens are just crop circles and Roswell-type stuff?
Some valuable statements on HIV and global inequality, but pretty dogged, and lefty centrist.
Although well annotated with sources, the lack of an Index is disappointing.
