There is zero evidence that antivaxxers spammed vaers. There is ample evidence that vaers is highly underreported.

There is evidence it was spammed. Reports listed with wrong year, no Vax information, lot # etc, no medical info such as test results, medical docs uploaded etc. Just death reported.

I did and was astonished as to the amount of either absurd or non serious reports that were made in comparison to what could be deemed legitimate concerns.

There was one saying that 3 weeks after the vaccine they had a swollen ankle.

VAERS isn't a record of everyone who was killed by the vaccine. Its a record of people who possibly had a bad reaction to it.

Put simply it's more or less just a record of cases that may need investigating at some time in the future. Not a record of cases that have been investigated and proved.

It's highly likely that the vast majority of the cases that you're talking about will be dropped in the near future for being unrelated to the vax.

Come back in two years and tell us how many cases remain after an investigation.

These people don't seem to understand that Vaers is a general reporting tool, not a record if proved cases. Most of it is irrelevant.

Somebody said that their hair dye was messed up from a vaccine. Another claimed the vaccine gave them pink eye.

This is just raw data anyone can put anything in it they like they could claim 20 people who died by drowning was actually caused by the virus because it caused fatigue. Vears is not meant to be used as proof of anything that is what studies are for. What its meant for is to detect a possible trend early on so it can be investigated.

They use numbers and statistics to distract us.

45,000 deaths of a population of around 335 million. 45,000 sounds like a lot, but that is only 0.01342835820896% of the population.

Every life counts, but I think this more about manipulating us, than it is about COVID, or the vaccine. I think they are telling us what to think, what to believe, how to feel, and what to do.

If they are telling us to look, over here, I think we have to be looking, over there.

We all know that something else is going on. We need to stop following their bread crumbs and look at where they are trying to lead us.

People used to come here to deny ignorance.

Now they come to share the stuff that even YouTube and Facebook won't touch.

I don't like the vaccines (you can see my previous posts on this community about them). But I personally know people that have died and some of them were pretty young.

I am located in Indonesia, it's a bit crazy over here at the moment.

I know zero people who have tested positive, got sick or died from covid.

2 of my immediate family members had serious side effects from the jab. Both were previously healthy. I know about 3 dozen other friends and family who have had negative side effects.

I also know 2 people who have died from the jab within days of taking it. Both previously healthy.

Not saying this proves anything. But it's enough for me to ask questions and be highly skeptical...among many other HCPs warnings and cautions.

My community has been hit hard by covid. Many of us, including myself have friends, neighbors or family who died.

This isn't a hoax for us, we can see it with our own eyes.

More and more people on ATS are saying these things now.

At first I was skeptical to say the least. When people are claiming to know dozens of people with genuine hospitalisations or death from the vaccines it's hard to take it as real.

I can honestly say that here in the UK it's simply not like that and I can't figure out what is different.

It's troubling.

I can verify when I had my antibody test, not only did I have antibodies but also the T&B cells, 12 months after mild infection. Test done beginning of March this year.

I can only speak to the area I'm in but we run over 12 large hospitals and during the Covid surge our beds were completely full with Covid patients at every hospital.

Now it is simply not the case, or at least that's not what is being documented. We have a surge in like 2-3 of our hospitals, with majority they are saying is the common illness like years before. Some beds are filled with Covid patients, but not the majority.

I'm not sure where you live, or if you are isolated but I know probably at least 50 people (maybe more) or so that have had Covid. This is family or friends (not saying close friends, could be just an acquaintance). 1 friend in his early 40's died, several others who were older (over 60) died, and quite a few thought they were going to damn near die. Most had minor symptoms though.

I keep seeing back & forth debate concerning the COVID-19 data in the VAERS system, and there's something I think it's important to consider.

Ambiguity can be a very handy asset to those in position of "authority".

VAERS is a voluntary, self-service database for entering adverse vaccine events.

Think about that for a moment.

Voluntary.

Self-service.

With all of the resources at the disposal of the CDC/FDA, and by extension their patrons (i.e. the pharmaceutical industry a.k.a. BigPharma), how easy do you think it'd be to set up a system in which data input is NOT voluntary (or at least is actively solicited from EVERY vaccine recipient), and it is NOT self-service.

If BIG IF data accuracy were a paramount concern, then the VAERS system would be a closed-loop database where Every. Single. vaccine dose is catalogued, and entering tracking history would SOLELY be administered ONLY by health professionals.

You as John/Jane Doe decide you want to become jabbed. You either get this service through your personal health care provider, through a pharmacy, a clinic, or even a pop-up vaccine drive. In any of these cases, as part of the paperwork for jabbification, you MUST enter either the name/contact of your primary care physician (I have a nurse practitioner in my case), ~OR~ if you have none, you tick a box that says "CDC will monitor my outcome as I don't have a PCP". This creates a case number in this better VAERS system.

Then, after a period of time following your jab, either the health care professional you entered on your paperwork, OR a rep from the CDC (i.e. actual VAERS administrator) solicits feedback on John/Jane Doe's vaccine dose. This improved VAERS system would offer a private interface for verified health care professionals to enter data, so if you experienced adverse symptoms BEFORE the elapsed period of time, your doctor can input that data freely,. Otherwise, and in the case where a CDC rep does the data collection (if you provided no PCP on your jab form), after N weeks of the jab, John Doe receives an email to fill out a form on their experience, or by returning a response of "no adverse side effects" or NOT responding to the email, the case number in the system is closed with "all's well that ends well".

But that would make the system "Too Conclusive" and eliminate ambiguity from the system.

Armed with ambiguity, the CDC and their overlords (BigPharma) have the perfect public sentiment management tool.

Firstly they get to say, "see, look: transparency!". They fulfill the public's concern for accountability and "data driven" monitoring of the vaccine's outcomes.

IF there turns out to be very little data entered into the VAERS system, BigPharma says "See? No problems! This is all going smashingly!"

IF there turns out to be quite a lot of data entered into the VAERS system, BigPharma says "Wait hold on here! This is a voluntary, self-service portal. ANYBODY can input information, and even bunk information into the system. We have to take these adverse reports with a grain of salt"

The current manifestation of VAERS is set up to check a regulatory requirement off a list, and it is structured in a way that BigPharma and their lackeys can spin the data to suit whatever narrative best suits them.
