So I never authorized ATS to use facial recognition for my login. I had been prompted in the past when logging on if I wanted to allow this, and always denied. This am when I logged in, it automatically used facial recognition. I’m not familiar with how this process works, who has access to that kind of data. My phone? ATS? 3rd parties?

It's not ATS?

Must be a setting on your phone or you need to check your phone for malware of some kind. It has nothing to do with this site.

Ok, thanks! I’ll try and look more into how my phone works with this and where that data can go from there.

It's your phone.

I get notifications from different apps lately, that I turn down every time, how convenient a fingerprint or facial recognition unlock would be.

They place it sneaky so you might have activated it by accident?

I don't ever remember seeing anything here about facial recognition. Although I have not checked for that in many years.

Smartphones can store your login for any site or app, and do it for you automatically if you have facial recognition as an unlock option on your phone.

That being said, if you're scared of the government having your face on file, I'll not tell you about driver's licenses and passports.

I get the same for 2FA work logins.
Just disable it in your smartphone settings.

I fear there won’t be a choice in the not to distant future, we will be forced to use some kind of biometric ID. It will be for our own security of course we will be told..

I understood with Facebook it was the users that were the product and the whole site was about social engineering amongst data collection, so I just stopped using it years ago. But it seems you won’t be able to use any tech without giving up your personal data, privacy and possibly pulling your pants down and bending over...

It feels like bait and trap to me and I just don’t trust it.

As long as I can circumvent biometrics, I will be the part of the population that kindly resists this. It may not stop it but buy some time.

The thing is we tend to think a few years into the future... but these things are planned over decades and executed. Many interlocking things like we see now. That makes it difficult for the single person to get the big picture.

It's like you have good arguments why we don't need a vaccine passport because of COVID and they come up with different reasons. Arguing against all these reasons makes you look like being a person in denial, prejudiced and conspiracy minded.

From what I predicted last Spring many things played out like I thought they would, so I have gained a little confidence and oversight but that's a slippery slope. And it's designed like that. Divide and conquer. They effectively turned us on our selves on so many topics, noises and voices everywhere and the truth is just drowned out.

Without the bought and biased MSM, being the mouthpiece of this obvious agenda, this wouldn't fly like it would. To be honest we people are at fault, but then if you even protest peaceful, you're now eligible to land on a list and watched. My country has implemented mechanisms like this just like the US did.

There are many parallels between Germany and US, political tricks and tools being used the same way. US had 6th Jan and that fear jumped over to our politicians because they notice people are fed up. So the same tactics were applied with slighly different reasoning. I wouldn't be surprised if our own alphabet agencies have been instructed by US ones.

Also, Merkels regime copied Obama's and Hillary's voting survey tactics, not to know who votes who, but to get access to the information needed to change their minds.

It works with my sunglasses on, for a financial app I had approved facial login for. Go figure!

I never mentioned government, my question was specifically outlined. Not looking to spar or poke here

Seems like it’s from my smartphone settings which is the way I use ATS and not from ATS itself.

Yes absolutely, the parallels or should I call it ‘lockstep’ implemented by so many governments over the so called pandemic show us that our so called elected governments are just puppets of a larger agenda. (I was surprised by Sweden though, not heard much from them lately) It seems to me they want our consent to something we wouldn’t otherwise consent to, so they manipulate our psychology until that goal is achieved. This makes much more sense than forcing an issue.

Problem, reaction, solution. That kind of thing. I think we our heading towards a future of not owning anything, which is one thing, but tied into that we will be limited into what we actually get to rent, or subscribe too. Depending on our social credit ratings. This is why it’s so important they know exactly who you are and can access everything they need to know about you. So you only know what they need you to know ultimately.

Makes sense?

Yes, that makes sense. Also, yes, forcing us into it would never have worked, so they make she sheep bleak for it.

And while they get all information about the population, we know nothing about the puppet masters.

It's even scarier when you read how an economic forum is announcing the fusion of us into augmented humanity. Technology we can not verify or check for ourselves. Similar to dug88's thread about universal computers. If a chip can detect a stroke and mitigate, it can do it reverse too since it can influence whatever mechanism used to counter a stroke.

That's not a unnerving thing first and foremost, but the idea that there could be a remote access, and if it's just for "live saving updates", because we became live beta testers. What if a hacker missuses this? Then we will have skills and knowledge unlocked and taken away on a "need to know basis".

It's all in our faces, public information.
