flooding in germany

This flooding is getting out of hand, France was just hit hard and Japan too.

Two hours ago there was a storm and flood warning issued for my region during the upcoming night. The rivers are already overflowing since days.

The town I live meanders up a mountain but luck for us we're on a ridge than runs down, we should be okay from any landfall due to collecting water but the thing is, the town is built on big slap of slate.

I don't feel insecure but it's a bit eerie to know. Prayers go out to everyone.

I don’t know. But Germany (and Belgium) being inundated with water to the point where buildings collapse sucks!!

At least here in my location it's safe, there's clouds but no rain. weather radar

Currently it's at the foot of the Alps and over the Bavarian Forest. Our region should be okay, but that means other's aren't okay at all. The weather pattern is once again locked, I can not determine the wind direction.

Switzerland has a huge storm system over them with lot's of water, Czech too.

The Earth's poles are shifting.

Small update:

# is starting to fly here and people get very angry because now we know that our Government knew about this DAYS BEFORE and did NOTHING.

Still Merkel went to grab to John Hopkins Institute honoring in the US and chat with Biden. To her that joke of a President of a foreign country is more important than her own people. Now we know what we're worth to her, but she could not care less, she will be out of office soon. People have been left without help over night. We will remember this and no amount of politic-talk will remove this memory.

If the country you reign over is about to drown, and you know it and you do nothing but board a plane to the US.

The race track that I call my second home has been converted to an emergency help & storage facility, the Nürburgring.
