L.A. County has seen several consecutive days with more than 1,000 new cases reported daily amid a “rapid and sustained” spike in the number of infections. The county recorded 1,537 new coronavirus cases Thursday — a 83% increase over the last week, according to Davis.

He said the pandemic is still being driven by unvaccinated people, and vaccination rates are low in the communities where transmission is rising fastest.

Remember if there is spike of Covid Cases during the winter or fall the media will probably spin it and blame on unvaccinated to push the vaccination even further.

Probably not. Newsom is ramping up covid barriers for the September gubernatorial recall election. Requiring masks in public places etc. Mask people are his people.

some cities here are keeping the mask mandate for public transport even after the vaunted 'freedom day' (mk2) of july 19th.

it seems to be something of a free for all in regard to how individual councils interpret 'freedom'.

I am enjoying the ability to venture out markets in Northern California.

Now, thanks to idiots in Socal, We in the North will likely be required to "mask up" again, at least through another long, hot summer.

The vaccine may not grant "full" immunity, but it can save lives.

If you are too stubborn to take the shot(s), my attitude response is "I did My part".

Love this state, but dislike those running it. To get back on track with OP I’ve noticed people who got vaccinated are coughing constantly and sounding sick. So I am confused on what is really going on? They wear no mask, they seem to feel entitled and go back to their nasty habits, coughing sneezing allover the joint. I am glad I have continued wearing a mask in the workplace.

You know I have noticed that too, most of the elderly ladies in my zumba class that took the shots, I think all of them can not shake away a nagging cough they all have, they are blaming the cough on "allergies".

I am starting to hear that cough almost everywhere I go around in public.
