Having an issue myself on a galaxy tablet 7.pic]eg60e9b301.jpg[/pic
But no issue with the cursor.
The usual question is..
Did you:
:Refresh the device
: clear cache&cookies
Try that unless you already did.
By chance, does it slow down... by that I mean. If you hit a letter and it takes a second to place it. I'll type sometimes and it will buffer and will start to put the letters up when I'm finished typing..l as if a ghost is typing.

That is strange. What happens if you write the text on another program and paste it on ATS?
Does FF have hardware acceleration activated?

Yes, but specifically my fresh out of the box galaxy s7 tablet that runs on Android.
See: I'm back on an older Galaxy S2 now. and no slow keyboard response.

No slowing down. And, it doesn't happen all the time, just periodically. I am not able to get the glitch to reliably repeat, it just seems random.

Hi, I'm LittleBurgh. My android tablet started doing similar things after a recent update. Not on ATS because I rarely post here. My keyboard settings were all changed by the update. I had to fix the keyboard in Settings and also had to change my settings under Languages & Input to fix the cursor & random punctuation. Problem is, if it's only doing it here, you might be having a communication issue with ATS. That is likely on their end. You might have to write to Support to see if you need a patch. Good luck!

That almost looks like some parts are being blocked.
