I'm thinking England in this case is the equivalent of a Philadelphia professional sports team.

Take it almost to the championship, getting everyone's hopes up... then dashing them on the sharp rocks of defeat.

That was a really riveting match. I was rooting for Denmark but oh well.

I am thinking that foul that got England the penalty kick that the keeper caught, but then bounced off (GAH!!) wasn't a real foul. That referee seemed bias to me.

It wasn't a foul for the free kick when Denmark scored either. So that evens it out.

Yes there were a lot of dodgy calls in that match. Not good ref.

I remember seeing at least one corner kick that didn't get called when the ball crossed the back line and they kept allowing play.

Surely it’s a conflict of interest when your national side gets beaten but the ref in the next match is from said country…..hmmmm

I see what you did there, and after getting back into football after a 3 or so year hiatus (my bread and butter is champions league) as a stupid American who was raised in Europe, I would like to see some clips of your claim of refs crappin on England. wot.

Okay, first time in a major final for 55 years, but England's overall record is pretty damn good.

Played 80 odd national sides but only 4 of those sides have a better record against England.

They are Brazil, Uruguay, the Netherlands, and...

Yep, Italy.

Currently 10 - 8 in Italy's favour with 9 draws.

And unbeaten in their last 33 games.

Wont be a walk in the park on Sunday.
