Mandela Effect or what ---YT link icon is missing

I used to link YouTube videos by using a link that is now missing.
I would open the YouTube box and put in everything after the /

Was there such a icon for that on here? I can no longer insert video I try without it but it doesn't work I have been doing it for many years!

In the address bar on the youtube page, copy everything after the " = " symbol.

Then simply paste that into the youtube box when you're posting.

If you are on a iPhone or android, you will have to request the desktop page before starting to
post something. Most of the buttons for the features are not there if you use the portable page.

For that I pasted the FULL link usually that just shows the link.

So there is supposed to be the box mine has disappeared!
I clear often this has been happening for a long while now.
I asked mods but no one seems to get what I am saying or I am being punished lol!

99% of my posts have been done via the mobile view on Android.

For YouTube videos I manually enter the [yvid] tags and insert the juicy part of the YT link.

"[ yvid ] insert the part of the YT link after the last forward slash [ /yvid ]"

Same for bolding, strike through, italics, etc.

The only thing I can't do is preview my post.

Shrink DOWN SCREEN RESOLUTION smaller(zooming)...the box should b there

My only suggestion is to fire off a dm to ATS staff directing them to this thread. We at least have comparison screenshots of the missing YT icon vs my screenshot having the YT icon.

Edit: ok, I sent one ATS staff member a pm. Only other way to draw attention to the issue was to send an alert.. couldn't do that.

Can you make a Board & Business thread at least to bring it to the attention of ATS staff to help with the issue?

Which browser are you using?
I had to give up Waterfox as it wasn't supporting features on some websites.

I also moves this to BBQ and updated the title to perhaps bring out more members YT icon compromised.
