Oh cool... that makes sense... or at least as much as any of this can without first hand experience.
I only Astral projected twice. One time it only lasted about 3 seconds. I got excited when I floated out of my body and then SWOOSH back in my body.
The other time was a few minutes long. I told my kid I was gonna do it. He was in the next room over playing video games when I went into deep
meditation. I floated out and stood in front of my bed. I didn't look back because I figured I might get weirded out by seeing my body there and
swoosh back into my body.
It's a weird sensation and you literally hear a swooshing sound.
Anyway I walked into the next room where my kid was,the door was open, he was like 14 or 15 at the time. He was laying on his back sleeping on the bed
with his feet on the floor and the controller in his hand. I called to him but he didn't wake up. I got close to his face and yelled to him but he
still didn't wake up. I figured he couldn't hear me. So I just stood there and looked around the room slowly taking my time and observing all the
details I could. I don't know if it was because it was just dark in the room but everything seemed to have a green hue to it and this world seemed a
little fuzzy and not so vivid as base reality. The TV was on but the screen was that white and black fuzz like when there is no signal.
I seen a creature walk through the room and out through the wall. It wasn't 3D, it was a shadow. It was about the size of a medium dog but had a very
arched back and short legs.
After a few minutes I lost concentration and fell into sleep. I woke my self up when I realized I had fallen into the dream world. I got up out of my
bed and walked into my kids room and he was still laying on his back with the controller in his hand, and the TV was still fuzzy because of no
signal.
That's the extent my personal experience with Astral projection. I am pretty well experienced in meditation and I found Astral projection to be
somewhat difficult. There were two problems I faced. One was the depth of the meditation. You have to meditate very deep. The only problem with
meditating this deep is accidentally falling to sleep. You have to meditate to after hearing the swoosh sound that happens right before you fall into
the dream state. The other problem was leaving my body. It's best to lay on your back. When you leave your body you have to envision yourself sitting
up and standing up leaving your body behind. Usually I will get to the right state but when I envision myself sitting up my body would jerk toward my
sitting up position and the jerking would immediately startle me out of my meditative state.
I've really only tried projection probably 20 times so not like I tried for months and months with no success like many people. I'm confident I can
achieve mastery of Astral projection in less than 6 months if I applied my self.
Anyway I hope you find this information informative or interesting.
