This particular track I am working on as we speak is very dearly to me, it's about a certain life lesson I learned from a good friend who I, due
circumstances, haven't seen in a very long time, she was a stand up good girl, not much ego about her, like blissfully ignorant, but with
intelligence.
She taught me something invaluable.
For a long time I always looked around at what appealed me at first sight, like girls for example. The track is about this girl, she was actually a
therapist at the hospital I went at the time, but I've certainly spend over 5 years in total there, on and off.
Anyways, I didn't fall for her physical appearance, but after such long time we became good friends and we sometimes shared certain stuff the
'regular people' (as well therapists or clients) wouldn't share. She was lesbian, and that was fine. I wasn't interested in her, but after all
those years, noticing how lovely she really was I did fall in love with her in a certain way, but it wasn't her face, which is what usually attracts
me, especially the eyes.
But she didn't have physical attraction on me, but I fell anyway, because she had such a great personality.
So what I learned back then, is of quite some importance, at the time I was unware that I was even able to fall in love with a girl I don't find
attractive, yet it happened.
And that is what this track is about, it's a tribute to her and the life lesson she taught me by just being who she was.
It's only 2 minutes for now, but I tried making it a good two minutes, I hope some people can enjoy, the music aswell as the story.
Dream Essence - The Lesson (V) - 82 BPM
The 'V' in the title is the first letter of her name.
Thank you for listening, if you do...
