New to ATS, interested in UFO's.

Hello all.

Well been lurking on the net and remember ATS from way back but never joined before today.

I am close to retirement age, used to work as a programmer, but sort of doing part time odd jobs now. Reason being I got tired of sitting in front of computers all day.

I have had 2 UFO experiences in my life, one which was close up and totally blew my mind. Since being a kid I always believed there was something out there, and around 20 years ago I saw it for the first time.

The second time was 5 years ago (and could be explained by fatigue) it is less impressive than the first one but still lingers in my mind.

So all this UAP news really made me think about the experiences I had, I know I have to accept that I will never get an answer, but then again, I never fully shared the details of experiences with other people, mostly because of the ridicule factor.

My hope is I could get pointed to a forum in here were I could share more details on primarily the first experience, perhaps others have seen something similar. Not sure if this is the right place, I have no other ideas who to contact.

Cheers! But I cannot start a new thread there and alot of the topics are larger than my tiny personal experience. I hoped there was a noob sandbox somewhere, but I guess I have to comment alot before I am allowed to post a new topic.

Haha. Clever. I was thinking about just answering alot of threads, but I'd rather say something when I had something to offer and was afraid that it would be considered flood and I would end up get kicked. However, I will take your advice, many thanks.

Welcome Mr. Pal. You already have a few replies here in your introduction. A few more and you can create posts of your own. Here, reply to this post will get you one and if you want you may reply to this thread I made years ago..That will get you two.

Howdy and Welcome!

We make it a requirement for 'everyone' to do some reply-posting before they're allowed to post and author their own thread. This helps eliminate trolls, robots, and those that want to recruit or point folks to their website, etc.

Were really into creating a place for everyone to communicate, discuss and share their thoughts on a variety of genre's (including UFO's). It's a bit of an inconvenience but makes for better content and helps keep Our Community free of the "Hit and Run" crowd and those that are just want to disrupt diplomacy.
