If I ever put ice in your bourbon, it means the room is bugged and we need to find a quick exit.

Taking a knee was a form of protest, no one had to do it. The players that did take a knee got in trouble for it. I'm not seeing the "people getting forced to do something" conspiracy connection between protesting police brutality and Juneteenth being confirmed as a Federal Holiday.

You can't change the context into some submissive bedroom act lol. Is that what you are doing? Taking a knee depends on the context. Soldiers take knees, body boarders take knees, there can be a variety of reasons to be on one knee. Yoga, being knighted, proposing, etc....sure racist democrats taking a knee looking like a white savior when they shouldn't be protesting police brutality but passing police reform bills instead.

And if you put ice in my bourbon....it needs to be a single large piece. I like rocks, but not watered down flavor. On a semirelated note....my garage fridge went out today. Had a dozen large ice balls made in my form that melted. So now i will have to drink watered down bourbon tonight by using regular ice cubes.

Not to take it too off topic, but to celebrate Juneteenth, my son bought me a Japanese rock kit for drinks as well as some nice cut crystal lowball glasses. You freeze the stones and place them in your drink to cool it down without watering down the taste.

Ive had enough at this point i dint care. Id go straight from the bottle if the wife wouldnt scoff hold an intervention.

I celebrated Juneteenth ... by working my butt off like the private sector employee I am.

Not for me the cushy life of a Federal Employee where it's a hard month if I don't have one paid 3-day weekend.

I was told by several black people that "Juneteenth" is another white hero holiday. Abe Lincoln declared emancipation and June 19th only exist as a holiday is because of his declaration. Its another holiday glorifying white people saving others.

All the long dead freed slaves will be rejoicing.

Now excuse me I'm off to continue my journey forwards into the future.
