But it happens with yoga, occultists, mediums, cult members, sometimes unexpecting people who start a search for the meaning, aliens or whatever...
So it's not tied to God, let alone a purely Christian thing.

You want it to be God, it's your decision to believe that. There's just no way you can know what you are in contact with.

Lol you get so triggered any time anyone mentions any Christian terminology. In my statement I included "people searching for love and truth", which is obviously not solely Christians.

The fact that there is a biofeedback when people focus, meditate, love, hope, believe, give, forgive, etc, shows that these archetypes do in fact have an objectivity to them. This objectivity shows there is purpose. This objective purpose shows there is Something that contrived this system with an objective set of judicial biofeedback mechanisms.

In order for you to understand who God is, you'd have to read the Bible.

Oh, I've read it several times. Starts out strong, has a weak ending. Spoiler: Satan did it.

The definition of God that made the most sense to me was the one told of by the Gnostic Jesus, who said that the God of the Bible was a demiurge, a very powerful being that did actually create us and the world, but is not the true Creator, which is completely unfathomable to the human mind and definitely pointless to worship. The entity, called Saklas or Yaldabaoth, thinks it is God, though, which makes it rough on us.

A superpowerful being that thinks it's God, but going by the stories in the Bible is completely crazy paranoid, cruel and vindictive (by human standards). That's unfortunate for us. Jesus said the best thing to do was be good to each other, since we're trapped in this existence until death, so why make it worse?

That was Jesus's take on it. He wouldn't be lying about that, would he?

Yaldabaoth is the Serpent Satan. Satan is the demiurge, aka the "prince of this world" (second in command). To affirm this is actually real, the Aztecs also described a shape-shifting serpent God, Quetzalcoatl. The Chinese also worshipped Satan... remember how the Chinese dragon has a face of a lion? That's the exact description of Yaldabaoth. So at 3 distant geographic points around the world 3 cultures independently had note of this extra-dimensional being.

Kind of a tangent but it's rare you get to talk to people about gnosticism

Yeah.. The Bible..

I respect religion, but I personally don't buy what you're selling. For years people have said the world will end "soon" or in "year xxxx"
Earth might very well get destroyed at one point, and mankind with it. But I think the destruction will come from either ourselves (war) or perhaps Earth is hit by an asteroid or something.

Please as if 'halos on saints' is not a Christian image.
As if you were not intending to support an obvious Christian's statement with your post.

Sure I'm triggered...
by you saying things like this

Which you do all the time. The tangent in that statement is there are Chinese dragons and a feathered serpent in Aztec mythology to equate that with Satan is just another classic cooperton false statement.

Chinese

Aztec

Gnostic

The lion-faced serpent comes up independently in 3 geographically isolated cultures. Interestingly enough, a snake spine and a lion's head is an accurate representation of our nervous system - the spine being similar to reptiles, and the mammalian brain being represented by the lion's head. This is the epidome of a Jungian archetype. And as Plato postulated, these Forms are more real than the matter that represents them. See? No Christian references there, now you can safely agree without triggering your bigotry.

This trickster archetype and it's angels are the things which detract the truth seeker by luring it with its own desires. Here we see Krishna charming the serpentine tricksters

Essentially these beings are like the sirens that seduce the truth-seeker away from their journey

Fun fact Quetzalcoatl was born by a virgin.
Patron of priests amongst other things.
So we just pick and choose what similarities we like and ignore those we don't?

Chinese dragons are personified natural forces and symbols of power and worthy people.

The Chnoubis was a good luck talisman.

How do you make the jump to Satan?

Yaldabaoth was also born of the primordial Virgin Mother Archetype:

"And when she saw (the consequences of) her desire, it changed into a form of a lion-faced serpent. And its eyes were like lightning fires which flash. She cast it away from her, outside that place, that no one of the immortal ones might see it, for she had created it in ignorance. And she surrounded it with a luminous cloud, and she placed a throne in the middle of the cloud that no one might see it except the holy Spirit who is called the mother of the living. And she called his name Yaltabaoth.

This is the first archon who took a great power from his mother. (If you read the context before this block you will see this mother Sophia was a virgin Spirit)"

apocryphon of John

Chinese dragons are personified natural forces and symbols of power and worthy people.

Nah they wouldn't worship something that didn't have an empirical effect on their life. If you're trying to appeal that this is a sort of archetype then you're partially right. The fact that all these cultures describe a lion-faced serpent shows it is/was a real being

How do you make the jump to Satan?

Being the 2nd highest being in the universe explains how Satan was so easily deified by the Aztecs and Chinese. Revelation even specifically says this dragon has a serpentine army of angels.. which I would assume are the Kaliya that Krishna was overcoming on his way to enlightenment. This Is also likely the Hydra that Heracles battled on his way to awakening. also the same Serpent that Jesus overcame on the way to his Christening

For some Sophia is the female, holy ghost aspect of trinity, either way I can't see how virgin would apply to a being that per definition can't get physical.

How do natural forces not have an 'empirical effect' on their lives?
What could actually have more direct impact on people of an agricultural society than wind, rain, drought...?

Serpent symbols often stand for fertility, renewal and the balance between good and evil, only Christianity does make it an evil thing because it was also symbolic for shamanistic rituals were people directly connected with ... let's say the invisible aspect of the universe.

Quetzalcoatl doesn't even have a lion head...

A real being? Come on. You can find figurines of humans with animal heads all over the world, does that mean they were actual beings?
No.

They're referring to the Spirit as being pure and untainted (virgin)

Satan in Christian ideology is the adversary to humankind, like a litigator in a court of law that wishes to prove we are not worthy of our inheritance.

lion headed quetzalcoatl

No.

They're geographically isolated yet depicting the same lion-headed serpent... there's more to this world than we were led to believe growing up. It's starting to gain traction that UFOs are extra-dimensional, i would suppose Yaldabaoth is extradimensional as well.

That's the first I've heard of Jesus saying that.

You gotta dig a little deeper into the other contemporaneous texts. Interesting stuff. Like Jesus talking about how Christians should be comfortable as nudists. One of my favorite quotes from the Gospel of Thomas:

(37) His disciples said, "When will you become revealed to us and when shall we see you?" 4
Jesus said, "When you disrobe without being ashamed and take up your garments and place them under your feet like little children and tread on them, then will you see the son of the living one, and you will not be afraid"

This line from Thomas reminds me of Jesus claiming that a flower in bloom is dressed better than Solomon in all his glory. Essentially pointing out that the natural birthright of the human spirit is beyond any outward material prowess.

Not necessarily:

And he said, "Whoever discovers the interpretation of these sayings will not taste death." Opening line in Thomas's Gospel

"Very truly I tell you, whoever obeys my word will never see death" John 8:51

"and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. ... Do you believe this?” John 11:26

It comes down to whether or not you are willing to leave it all, so that you may be given All

"Anyone who loves their life will lose it, while anyone who hates their life in this world will keep it for eternal life." John 12:25

Essentially, if a caterpillar clings on to its life as a caterpillar it does not become a butterfly.

You lost me when you said sex, drugs, and rock n roll are bad. I've thoroughly enjoyed all three.

Existence is pain. Laughing in its face is life. Learn to love flaws; they are abundant. I'm sure I did this life wrong, so perhaps we'll meet in the next one. Don't waste time on hate; its exhausting. Be happy to share your slice of time with whomever you can share it with. And above all, stay weird.

See you in hell. Lol.

ETA: I think Rick and Morty had it right when they said "Nobody exists on purpose. Nobody belongs anywhere. Everyone's gonna die."

Facts..The scriptures ( not the crap thrown in by a deceiver) we all know him and his agents..
We're all inspired by the creator as him using man as a vessel . The only thing he actually wrote was done with lightning at the top of a mountain ...i dont know ,Moses has the details on that .
