Dual/Duel-a free verse poem

I am.
I am not.
Yes, I am.
No, I am not.
Choices.
No option.
Vocal.
No words.
Tick, tick, tock.
Illusion locked.
Individuality.
Generic.
Seen.
Invisible.
Running.
Dwadling.
Accepting.
Resisiting.
Tick, tick, tock.
Time mocked.
Conscious.
Unaware.
Knowledgeable.
Ignorant.
Confident.
Doubtful.
Order.
Chaos.
Mirror mirror on the wall.
Nothing's real after all.
Embrace your duality.
This is reality.

A good friend of mine said to me one day "You think there is something called "consistency." That was 20 years ago. When ever I get stuck in some shade between the multitude of dualism, I make sure it is intentional and represents who/what my experience really is.

Malt liquor and bacon at 4 in the morning.
Is this an early breakfast or a late dinner?
Is it today yet?

Like deeply amazing. Wow, I didn’t know you wrote so well. I looked back and found a poem you had posted back in 2013, that one was really good too thanks for that !
