As for phones, my Husband has one that is loud when playing music or a movie.
In late July, the story of a Canadian woman who used Metallica's "Don't Tread on Me" to fend off a stalking cougar made headlines. The lady, Dee Gallant, mentioned that she'd love to be able to thank frontman James Hetfield someday for how his riffs saved her life. Papa Het took notice apparently, as Gallant got a surprise call from the thrash pioneer earlier this week.

I don't see the cougar moving at all. Could be fake?

Cougars are a beautiful wildcat! I just wouldn't want one pouncing on me.

Metal has the effect on most living things. Only the extremely deranged enjoy that noise. a reply to: Night Star
It was great stress relief for me as a teen.

I know of a guy that had one pounce on his back.
He pulled a knife and injured himself pretty bad.
It's possible the cat thought there was something wrong with the guy that stabbed himself in the neck that made it safer to not eat that one.
