Cornerstone of China’s strategic deterrence against the US: more nuclear missiles and warheads

Why are we just now hearing about this?
If China follows through. Well, it was nice knowin' ya'll. Catch you on the other side!
I told my housemate that and he laughed. He thinks we stand a chance against China. I reminded him there are over 4 BILLION people in China and around 350-360 million in the USA. And knowing that China expects the very best from it's people and the USA is giving diplomas for college graduates majoring in hula-hoop dancing .....well, it won't be pretty.
Also remember, China has hacked our last few elections, is extremely involved in propaganda in this country and owns many of the corporations and businesses and controls Hollywood. They are also our biggest importer and 3rd largest we import to. Personally, they don't need nukes but hey, I guess that's their call.

The resultant radiation cloud would pass over Japan with devastating results and then meander its way to California. This does not seem very smart.
Keep the Nukes out of it.
Besides, if China did start it, I think Russia would take it out. The one who first launches gets all of the replies from everyone who has Nukes.
No win, but a severe reduction in the number of Chinese.

Don't get me wrong, I love this country, and have nothing but respect and honor of our men and women in the military and all those who have served. I'm just looking at numbers and which country has the most cray-cray to carry out dirty deeds. And of course I hope I'm wrong. I don't have THAT much prepped supplies, lol. Quite frankly, China threatening nuclear warfare....it's just so over the top, it makes me a little nervous.

No, i don't realise that at all.
And you have no proof that's the case nether, at least intensonally.
Else i take it you are working along the premise that China would be so silly as to release a bioweapon in the own back yard, and in a city also known to have biological labs in place?

China owns about $1.1 trillion dollhairs in U.S debt.
Talk about biting the hand that feeds them.
It would be like your mortgage company threatening to burn down your house coz you tell them you dont like them.
If nukes are ever used in anger again my bet is that its Pakistan and India who are the main contenders to start chucking atomics about over the Khyber pass.

OK. subtract the non military chinese from that number. then subtract the old, infirm,or female. That cuts the number to rround to 2.2 bilion. now how to move so many troops without arousing suspicion, and avoiding attack from surrounding countries who want to make sure they dont get radiation? Its not really practicle for china to war with us.

They jury is still out on that one Nunyabizisit.
But its worth at least entertaining the possibility.
Any idea the kind of crap both our respective nations have been involved with releasing or testing on there own troops and people in the past?
Was the use of Agent Orange a war crime, what about Napalm or Willy Peter?
How about the BP spill of oil off the coast, considering the damage it done, was that a war crime?
If China turns out to be responsible for unleashing COVID 19 down to a mistake they will hardly be the first nation to have played that game.
And at the end of the day actual proof might be nice else its simply pointing fingers.
