The site is being blocked through DNS providers. Firefox and Cloudflare encrypted DNS are the biggest culprits. Been happening for at least a year.

In the past you had to have a few posts - can't remember how many - before you were allowed to start a thread.
Not sure if that's still applicable?

There were definitely problems with the image upload functionality. Nothing a little sleepless night can't fix. Try it now.

Thanks, working again at my end.

I exclusively use Firefox, and have never had browser-related site issues.
Ever.
Thus, you're peddling a load, and it's a stinky one.

Dude, abovetopsecret.com? That's it? No http :// www. or https :// www. (edit: spaced those out to illustrate) to start it? Sometimes omitting either breaks a site load for some reason, it's done that since I had an Angelfire webpage back in the day (seriously dated myself there)
Try the www.abovetopsecret.com... and see if that goes.

I put a redirect in that should always redirect to the proper canonical URL. You shouldn't get that issue anymore.

If you are on a PC try the command line then type "ipconfig /flushdns" then clear the cache for abovetopsecret.com. It should clear up a lot of issues.

That's a good one to remember, not everyone (even me) would think to do a DNS flush for a single site. I've done it when I've had across-the-board issues anywhere I went that were solved with a flush, so it definitely does work at solving web issues, folks

Here is the equivalent procedure to flushing your DNS on mobile phones, both iPhones and Android.

Apparently I now have to use microsoft edge to post on ATS. That might just be a deal breaker.

try looking at the http vs https issue. Modern browsers remember. I'll wager M$ edge was using "remembered history" or old bookmarks. If you went to FF and the delay stopped. Perhaps FF was automatically using https.

Bingo! I didn't know AboveTopSecret.com had become https://. That's great news!

Thank-you.

Why?

What were you using that doesn't work now? Internet Explorer perchance?

What hardware/operating system are you using?

I think I fixed another issue. I noticed it wasn't redirecting to the SSL site when you are in the /forum/ subfolder. I was successful in creating a redirect for that folder as well. Hopefully, that will solve some issues.
