"The Secret of Skinwalker Ranch" Season 2 Episode 4

For me it is frustrating to see these inconsistencies. Are they looking at/showing their own TV crew drone hovering over the people searching for mysterious light? When they do thing like this their credibility plunges.

They should do less scripting and editing, I bet UTE person was brought after the incident with purple light, but why? Any orb would be suspicious. Maybe they have problem with producing enough content to fill the episodes, thus filming their own drone under the pretense of mysterious light. I get that the phenomena there is capricious, but be objective.

They should definitely focus more on science and stop dummying it down.

Interesting observation and one I've wondered about myself. If they have drones on site used for secondary/background photography, why not just send THAT up above the triangle??

Leads more credibility to things being stages and/or sensationalized

Two or three episodes back….they used up to 200 drones for the triangle and some other part of the ranch……

inconclusive results…….

And there was some drone failures which the contracted crew said they’ve never seen before. But no deeper study as to why.

They were not looking for the purple light at the triangle but, to the south of it. I would rather see another equipment malfunction rather than edited (guy puts GoPro on his chest with an elaborate harness - it took time) acted chase.

They may not be running after unexplained all the time, I think it would prove their objectivity if they actually debunk some of that stuff and show pranksters/trespassers causing problems. Or, try to work other people’s theories -James Keenan’s theory about lights over mesa, for example.

I really want them to find something but they need to maintain certain level of professionalism and credibility in documenting the events so people take their discovery seriously.

Wish that there would be a way for the people there to hear some of our comments.

A detail that keeps bothering me is about those metal chips that came out from that horizontal drill they used, and they had them analyzed, but never did an isotopic ratio test that would have identified their origin.

If they did do that test but kept that information secret, then it devalues the whole program.

did anyone else catch a key take away from next weeks show. Sounds like large amounts of selenium were found in the mesa somewhere, and one of the Scientists said selenium is primarily used in cloaking devices......very interesting!

That’s why I am still watching The Curse of Oak Island, 10+ seasons, still no treasure but at least they address all their findings.

Selenium, and the mystery is solved… (I hope not), photovoltaic and photoconductive. Keenan’s rock theory may be on point. Plus if the mesa is rich in other minerals (metal isotopes) in connection with photovoltaic properties of selenium could explain magnetic field abnormalities.

Interesting about the selenium aspect……

There is a treasure hunt show called Blind Frog Ranch which is in the same area as SWR……both ranches are connected by the same road….Paradise Park Rd.



They to are having high strangeness in their diggings, UAP’s, etc. …… what they have found is there might be concentrations of Iridium!

If you haven't seen the episode, they failed in a pattern. As it rose, the ones in the center failed in a pattern like they were wrapping around an anomaly. It was not random failures. It was specific failures.

I think I'm throwing in the towel on this show.

To me the series is tabloid trash and each "experiment" is click-bait.

My opinion..

If something truly astonishing was going on, it would not be in the hands of the public/private domain.
If rare or semi-rare earth elements were involved, it would not be in the hands of the public/private domain.

I use the History app and now get emails. Did you know they now have a SWEEPSTAKES for a winner to visit the ranch??? Sounds really safe given all we've seen (headaches, migraines, dizzy spells etc) huh?

The owner is a very successful REAL ESTATE mogul. His entire life has been spent finding success in property investment. Now why in TF would someone like that blow money on a property if there was no return on investment??? Sorry, not buying the "curiosity" aspect.

Never trust a guy with a nickname of "Dragon". That's just retarded. (good for TV though)

Simple experiments go ignored. Something floating above an area? Tether a balloon. Metal object down a hole? Send down a magnet.
Orbs flying around or flashing? Use one of the multitude of drones on-site, brought by the production company to go explore. Same goes for the "triangle object". Send one of your friggin drones up! They certainly don't seem to run into any issues when doing second-unit photography of the area now do they? Only when "doin muh speriments!"

I will not be surprised if they open the ranch up to overnight guests, if not already. "Spend a night in the creepiest place in America! All for only $1200 per-person!"


Sorry for the rant guys. I had high hopes for this show and loved the stories from the Knapp book when Big's owned it. To me it now simply a tourist attraction
