I don't think that they are our enemies....they have clearly demonstrated far superior technology. I see no reason why if they were our enemy they would not simply take over and make us do whatever they want....?

Sgt Stone has some interesting stories. My only quirk with him is he is the only one telling these stories. And retiring from the military after 25 years, I can say I know that people CANNOT keep secrets. Information eventually gets out no matter what you do.

I have seen no evidence that they can interact with our internet. Also, they are not hostile, or they would have attacked more often. I think they are neutral observers studying us.

You have seen no evidence?
Can you not deduce from the tic tac incident that they have hacked our military networks? LOL!
It is lofty, meditate in the desert with a tinfoil hat crazy to think they are friendly. It is only wishful thinking after watching the movie ET to think that.
They are covert, show aggressive manners, and are unwilling to communicate.
They want something from us, and the game is to figure out what it is they want from us before they actually get it.
I'm sure our military have some covert means of observing them with new technologies. Maybe, unlikely, they will share that in June.

What if they are incapable of fear? Biting ants get into the switch on my water pump, attracted by the magnetism. An ant gets fried, and when it dies, it sends out a pheneremone that says, "I'm under attack!" More ants form a line and step into the electrical field and get fried, and also send out the same message. Ants will form a line and respond to that chemical message until their fried bodies literally force the contacts of the switch apart, thus interrupting the power of the pump.
After that is all over with, the ants line up again to haul the fried ant bodies back to the nest to be recycled. Nothing wasted. I can't imagine that they were ever afraid. They are simply incapable of such emotion. They have no fear, pride, sorrow, joy or glee. They will gladly sacrifice their bodies for the good of the nest. That is their destiny. They never feel sorry for themselves, or experience regret or guilt. Those chemically-induced signals are not accessible to them.
I think the "others" might well be in this same mindset, except extremely, geometrically advanced well beyond our own science. They do what is logical for their own species. If that is so, we humans can never compromise with them. Our desires would be worthless to them, and their motivations would seem cruel to us.
I only hope that if this is true for some of the "others" that there are others out there which have evolved with some of the same chemically-induced reactions as us.

If they were our enimies they would of destroyed us a long time ago. They would not wait untill we advanced our technology to the point where we could defend ouselves.

Pretty ineffective enemy, don't you think? All they've ever done is observe and allegedly shut down some missle silos for a couple hours.
Beyond that, I think that most the other points are derived from a point of understanding that is colored by human understanding and ego.

Exactly.
For some reason important projects are compartmentalized, with each one knowing only exactly what they need to know to do their work, as that way any leak will affect only that specific "compartment".
The probability of a leak is directly related to the number of people involved and the time they have to keep things secret.
That's why following leaks is important, not only to see if they are confirmed or not but to try to find other what other "compartments" may be connected to that one and try to find what the whole project is.

Why should they bother with us?

If its not a hoax or disinformation then maybe they are here for something. Water? Earth is the only planet we know of that has very abundant free flowing water. The wild life is secondary, maybe for study or just to mess around with.
