Hello everyone I'm awkward in social situations..

... but I am here to learn about everything I don't understand yet and perhaps get an insight into some things I think I understand but probably don't, if that makes any sense which on re- reading it does not. My main interests are Aliens, the paranormal, space, time, dreams, otherworldly realms, witchcraft, conspiracy theories, folk horror and just everything that you hardly ever get to hear or read about in the everyday world. I live in a small village in the UK with my little family and cat and dog. My son who is 16 thinks I'm borderline insane.
In my more creative moments I like to paint surreal pictures and make models of houses, I also enjoy growing herbs and knitting, though not simultaneously ha ha.
I randomly found this site when I was searching on google for pictures of the moon, and it looked so interesting and like a lot of fun as Pete Burns might say, I just had to join up. Thank you for having me and bye for now!

Welcome. Despite the complaints about ATS being about politics these days, you'll find plenty of that kind of stuff if you look through the forums and there's still a bunch of people here who enjoy such topics.

I too,am a bit anti-social due to a hearing impairment.Most who try and have a face to face conversation with me get frustrated,quickly.So I tend to avoid folks.

I wouldn't worry too much about being socially awkward around these parts. Imho most of us are nutters it's just some are honest about it! We've got Brits, gardeners, artists and probably knitters too so you should fit right in.
