I think your posts are being routed through some Alphabet agencies servers so that they can filter your posts for any incriminating stuffs etc, that is why it is getting slow.. Check your OS and run antivirus programs, check firewalls etc etc..

Thank you for bringing this up, it's been driving me crazy lately. Sometimes I get some downtime at work so I get on my phone to catch up on new threads on ATS, but the pages just don't want to load. It takes anywhere from 30 seconds to 2 minutes for the front page to load, then another period of time to change the loadout from bright to dark(easier for my eyes), then another period of time for the new section to load.

More often than not, I give up by the time I start loading the new section and just go to youtube.

BTS, PTS, ATSNN, MATS, a couple sites that were awarded as prizes...pretty much all gone now but, yeah there were other sites at one time or another.

Has something to do with a script loading..probably for ads.

It's intermittent from my experience, and was happening before the new owners.

Not much bandwidth required for this site...

I run PiHole...so always fast...

I bought a new laptop and guess what evaporated? Slowness! You folks having issues might be using technically obsolete tech (planned obsolescence, stupid idea, or just too damn old tech) SO...you may want to swallow pride and consider that. Otherwise, no one's suggestions forward are going to be of much use.

Age, specs? I might be able to help with ideas, but cache & cookie maintenance generally holds the fort down for you no matter how dinosaur-y the computer is.
