ALERT: Nova Scotia Government Granted Injunction to Stop "anti-mask", "anti-lockdown" Protest

This is bad. Really, really bad.

Well, I guess I'm going to jail tomorrow by standing up for the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms and the Canadian Constitution.

They are limiting movement on an unprecedented scale because, for over more than 1 year, 72 people have supposedly died from this virus. All over the age of 60...the majority in one poorly managed nursing home.

Wish us luck. I can only hope the police join the protest too. They are facing the existential conflict of enforcement of a decree and the upholding of their oath to protect the rights and freedoms of citizens. And their rights and freedoms are at stake too! I guess we'll find out which cops know what their job is and which don't tomorrow.

If I don't report back tomorrow. I'm in jail.

Fewer than 100,000 people can descend on where the government is located, and shut things down...or even force a change of leadership.

In America, only 700 people put the fear of God into key leadership in Washington D.C.. 700 Un-armed people!

Outside was not trespassing. And according to videos, a good chunk of the 700 who went inside were INVITED in by Capitol security officers.

For the record. I am not an anti-vaxxer (though I am super skeptical of the covid vaccines) and I am completely fine distancing and wearing a mask.

I am NOT ok with the state telling me where I can and cannot go in public.

Also, the government spun this to sound like both of those. The protest is a PRO democracy one. We are against rule by decree. We do not elect kings here!

I can't access any paperwork right now, but who called for the injunction?

From what I've seen 95% of people here are "doing as they're told", and the other 5% are very respectful about keeping their distance from everyone. It's so strange that 1 year in, the government cares about a protest.

Prayer said for you all, friend. Praying especially for the police that you mention. God speed to you all. I think they are using Canada to test and practice and refine the way they implement their tyranny, before implementing it fully in the US.

Buddy, being ok with and complying to wearing a mask and socialism distancing is what opens the door to them being able to tell you where you can and cannot go.

Best of luck with that. Where are the cajones of the law-enforcement leadership to say that they will not enforce unconstitutional edicts? I have lived in two separate states in America since this COVID debacle began, and in both places, local law enforcement has said that they will not waste resources enforcing borderline-illegal mandates and limitations on gatherings.

I know that America has it's problems, but I'm pretty sure that I couldn't live in Canada. It just seems to have a system that makes it much easier to erode away liberties at a much faster pace. No offense meant to anyone who does live there, it's just a subjective thing.

So apparently, they're "not" removing anyones rights to peacefully protest, they're saying you have to wear a mask, social distance, and follow limits on how many people can be in a space.

I still thinks it's BS, personally, but I also think you could still stage an even more effective protest, because people would be shocked to see these "anti-mask" or "anti-vaccine" advocates still protesting peacefully like the mostly sane people they are, just trying to do what's best for them.

Hopefully your protest goes well tomorrow.

Good luck to you. I was going to attend the rally on the south shore awhile back but wasn't in the area that weekend. After seeing the public lynching that went on after the fact that also led up to the injunction for tomorrow I'm sure...I've stopped being openly vocal in support.
The pitchforks came out in full force as you know and this province is a real ugly shade of liberal red right now.
I'm not anti-mask or anti-vax if it makes people feel safe...so be it. I wear a mask when I go out to be respectful of the fear that others have. Have not signed up for vax..nor will I.
But to use a pandemic as the foothold for the slight of hand to instill their new version of normal is intolerable.
I know the Freedom rally is trying to make everyone understand this...but most are so blind with fear here and think outright obedience is the only way.
There are many who support you from a distance (6 feet) lol and appreciate you having the guts to stand up and say something. Just wish we could get the End the Lockdown coalition out here...
But the masses might burn them at the stake....

I’ve been to every anti-mask anti tyranny protest here in Vancouver. Our police have been respectful of our rights, I can only hope the same for you.

I find it wild how free we are here on the west coast, cross the Rockies everything goes baths!t crazy!!

Mind you check points on the freeways out of local medical centres, which you say travelling for work or looking at property too move, with MLS listings in hand and bada bing bada boom thank you for your time brown shirts I’ll be on my way.

Keep resisting friend if none do soon we will really see what’s planned if this BS CoNViD PLANdemic never ends
