why wouldn't we? do you honestly believe china won't hoard an advantage, or any other nation? this is the problem with the Western mindset in recent decades, we've become overly idealistic and trusting, to the point we let foreigners take advantage of us and deny reality, slowly killing our future as nations because we somehow believe we're doing something good.

As far as stealing technology, aren't the majority of all our devices, and electronics, made with components made in China?

This does not seem like anything to be upset with China about. They are only doing what we do and have done. The issue should be with our government and those officials that we already know, don't give a damn about America or Americans.

I have nothing to base this off of, but I believe China has infiltrated us much deeper than the Soviets ever could.

With today's multi-cultural global acceptance, it's almost a given.

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo told a room full of U.S. Governors, about 12 months ago, that several of them were compromised by China.

He spared them embarrassment by not naming them in that public forum. But he later published a list of "China-Friendly" U.S. governors. The MSM ignored it, of course. But it was posted to this wonderful forum.

FYI: ATS is electronically attacked all the time, because everything is here to bring down the high-level criminals. It's just that "authorities" haven't bothered to put it together yet. There are too few "honest" authorities.

It has been demonstrated/proven that Dominion Voting Systems was interacting with servers/personnel inside China on November 2020 election night.

The bottom line: China is increasing its efforts to hold sway over cash-strapped local and state governments.

Companies and organizations must aim for smarter engagement to lessen the risk because “most folks who are already engaged with some aspects of the Chinese government or with a Chinese institution can't just say no,” the official said.

Apparently it surfaces every now and then on Facebook but is not true.

I have never liked the Bushes and it was due to him running in 92 that I voted, holding my nose, for Clinton. Note, I did not vote for him in 96. However it is nice to get our facts straight.

Yeah, it must not be that great! Probably only stealing information they can use to oppress their own citizens or kill more combatants in a war. I like how the poster assumes the only technology they would steal is either great, amazing, "life changing" or useless.
