I work from home, I have no where to go and curfews.

Suburbs going out about 25 to 30 miles are boarding up businesses bracing for a huge # storm to hit

2020 has been a mockery of our justice system.

I've boarded up my home (with my wife in it) and I'm heading to the bar for a beer.

I think you are right on guilty, and true, I did not hear about any questions/clarifications to the judge, from the jury..I assume those things are reported when it happens.

They are since court needs to be reconvened and the questions asked in the presence of counsel. The judge will then give instructions or clarification and all of this becomes part of the record.

Just to confirm. What they just said on HLN (TV Channel)....

"There was not a single question asked by the Jury"

That is my concern as well.
After hearing a lot of the facts, I know I questioned everything, compared to what the news was saying.

But, can you imagine being a juror? Knowing that if you say not guilty, you may have to look over your shoulder for the next few years? And that the city will burn?

In fairness, how can you even know you are getting a fair trial, in this situation?
I don't see how you can.

Maroon Civic just started shooting. Cops are responding now.

Livestream is listening to a police scanner so this is coming in, in real-time.

I'm on a Teams meeting right now ignoring important people and am on ATS because I'm bored.

It doesn't matter what the verdict is, anything short of burning him at the stake is going to be a reason for them to riot.

You could be right, I kind of figure that too.

Which means what I said earlier, either conviction or acquittal on the primary charges.

10 hours is all it would take to know Chauvin wasn't guilty of murdering Floyd with intent. But I bet the jury has also been bullied and intimidated into submission.

So then a unanimous vote one way or the other?

Man, I dunno, I guess they had 10 hrs to hash it out.

There's zero chance it's a hung jury, the judge would have remanded them back to deliberation for at least another week at minimum.

If you lived here, most people say it should only have took 9mins or however long he was doing the hold.

Either way, they'll riot. It's the culture.

Do you know anyone who lives there, that actually watched the entire trial?

I feel like it's going to get bad. Real bad. Doesn't matter what the verdict is.

I fully agree, the judge would not let them quit that soon.

So the forecast is for riots, but what kind?

Peaceful riots?
Summer of love riots?
2021 bat# crazy next level riots?

National Guard rolling in Minneapolis...apparently happening right now...

twitter.com...

Depending on intensity of the Minneapolis low pressure system, we could be looking at winds speeds of 111 to 157+ miles per hour.

abolition
[ˌabəˈliSH(ə)n]
NOUN
the action or an act of abolishing a system, practice, or institution.

Sounds like insurrection to me!
